I can see what Kathy means.......paying for WW's (which is not cheap) seems kind of silly if your not doing WW's.
But, if this is the only way that you can see to get the support and the commitment of weekly weigh-ins then it might be worth it. Weight Watchers is after all cutting calories in a balanced way, and they certainly encourage exercise.
Maybe you could even check what you eat each day and compare it to how many points you should be eating. There is the small chance that you may not be getting enough calories and could add a few. Not eating enough can slow down or stop your metabolism. Somedays I eat all my points and wish I had more. Other days I end up being 9-11 under. Those are the day's I ate more salad or did not eat a lot of meat for my protien. The points are a great way to have something tangible that you can use to gauge what and how much your eating. It's easy for me to know if I can have that snack at the end of the day, or if I should eat something lighter.
Good luck in your choice, you can't loose by going (except for money maybe?)
