Cindy: How cool that I'm going to see you for Goofy 2010! I'm still planning on it, but haven't signed up yet. (Too soon on the credit card statement.) I like the "health living" checklist. Between that idea and Beth's goals, I feel inspired to do some serious assessment! And what a cool idea for your 6 miler on the TM...a picnic for the girls.
Beth: Love the specificity of your goals. Like I said to Cindy, this kind of stuff is so helpful to see, and encourages me to do that for myself. So, April and CMM, huh? I'm tempted, but I don't know that April is in the cards for us. Your story about the pizza made me laugh.

Bet it made the pizza taste better, too!
Mike: It's been a while since I was on here regularly--did you injure your knees? You've been putting in a lot of time consistently, so probably not an overtraining injury. Congratulations on that skinny feeling!
Amy: Love the bling, almost as much as I loved meeting you and DD. (Sorry if DOOD and I were distracted by our family emergency--hope I didn't come off as rude.) So sorry to hear about your overhydration on the 1/2. (Us water stop volunteers were pushing the water like crack, weren't we!) But you know you can move faster, and have, so this one's just the encouragement you need to sign up for next year, right?
Stacie: You and Matt looked great when I saw you cheering at the full. (And it's so not fair that he wasn't really feeling the 1/2 after his, ahem, training.

) So you're doing the Princess half? I'm trying to convince DOOD that we should fly down for it and scream team (it's during his spring break). I'm not sure if he thinks I'm crazy or not, but we have APs and I'm not asking to register for the race or anything....
Tracey: Just as with Amy, I hope I didn't come off as too rude when I met. DOOD and I were really distracted by my ILs' emergency room visit. It was good to meet you, and I wish I could have relaxed more and been in the moment. (We circulated, but thought we'd have to leave at any moment.) Thanks for screaming me on. I was feeling fine at Morocco, really. Jackie (MouseDogMom) and I had been pacing her DH for a few miles--he was walking really slowly and stopping a lot because of leg cramps--and had just left him in order to make our 7.00 time. So we were practically rested at that point and just happy to know we'd make the official finishing time.
More important--woo hoo on your first 1/2 and great finishing time!

It sounds as if you had a great time and will be up for another Disney race soon. The princess, perhaps? I can't help you with the avatar, but love the pic in your post/siggy line! You're definitely looking fresh and ready to run another half!
As for me: Lean Meaners! Slinking back in again with the bad news. i managed to reach a new decade while at WDW. Might have had to do with all those meals out before the marathon. You would have thought I'd have burned some of those calories off in the 7.00 hours it took to finish, but noooooo. Yep, that's right. I took every minute Disney gave me to finish! Jackie (MouseDogMom) and me were doing the walking wounded race-day plan and had a blast together!
Unfortunately, I've now seen the race pics. I'm much heavier than I was 6 months ago, or even a year ago, and it shows. Backslide, backslide, backslide. (Or should I say backside, backside, backside?) Time to recommit to my inner lean meanness. I don't have a planned race for a while, so my goal is to concentrate on getting back into good habits--especially for XT and eating. No excuses like, "But I really need to fuel for my LR."
Next up, some specific goals and a checklist.
