I weigh around 165 and wear a size 12 or 14 jeans depending on the brand. I carry most of my weight in my thighs and stomach. To the point where some very obnoxious people have asked me when I'm due (nope, not pregnant, just fat, thanks for making my day!).
Wow that must be the theme, because I carry my weight mainly in my stomach and a little in my thighs and weigh 205 and am 5'6 and wear a 14. Sometimes a 16, but 80% a 14.
I'm wearing XL (14-16?) across the board in maternity clothes, but they really only fit me across the shoulders and in the belly; the bust area in tops is extremely loose and the butt/thighs in pants are extremely saggy.
Hang in there. I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with DS, but I was in my early 30's at the time. I read your later post about how yours is going and you are doing a lot better than I did. I couldn't get mine under control and had to be on insulin. It was very frustrating, b/c my diet was stricter than DH who is diabetic. I weighed about 186/188 when I became pregnant. However, after I had DS, I was 30 pounds lighter! Having the gestational diabetes was difficult to deal with, but in the end it was worth it. Btw, the diabetes went away after I had DS. Although I'm still at a risk of getting it due to it being hereditary in my family.
