Weigh in Day (not good results)

Well today was wiegh in for me and it shows a 1 pound gain :( :rolleyes: . I am a little surprised and disapointed but I have not been faithful to eating (or not I guess) and exercise so.

To add to it TOM is now 9 days late (and there is no chance that I am pregnant) and now today I am starting to feel bloated (I rarely get the bloats). I have been in the early stages of perimenopause for about 5 years, but my periods have still come pretty regularly and never been 9 days late.

And it was SO HOT here today over 100 degrees UGH!!
 
I'm sorry your weigh in didn't go to well- but when you add in all the variables, I'll bet you ose lots the next time you do weigh! I am happy to see that while you may be a little sad about it, at least your trying to be positive about it! Hang in there. Perserverance wins very time!
 
Numerous factors play into what the scales reads - and it is not always a true reflection of your actually wgt.

Near your period
what you ate that day
how much water you had a few hours prior to weigh in
the humidity

Journal everthing you eat, try to excercise at least 3-4x/wk for 30minutes - and drink the water. I bet next week you will show a lose - just don't give up!:D
 
No need to be down on yourself. You had a lot playing against you. Just stick it out and remember to try and eat like you had planned to along with your exercise. That was one WI, you have to look forward, not backwards. I would recommend writing down everything you put in your mouth and that may help you see where there are some problems. Good luck on your next WI.

I had the same problem last weigh in but with a 3lb. gain, and I had been following my plan to the tee. By the next weigh in, those 3lbs plus were gone! Don't let it get you down, there will definately be up and down weeks. As long as you try to stay on track and get that water in, you'll succeed!

yasuern gave you some sound information. Pick back up & try again & don't beat yourself up about it. You'll get through it & will start to see positive results.

I am not really feel down, just was hoping for a small loss and defiently not expecting a gain. I am sure the small gain is due to my period compounded by it being 9 days late (I finally got it this morning).

I am just going to have to work harder and be more strict. But I am not giving up. I refuse to give up.
 
Hang in there! In a few days you will have lost that pound, plus some I'm sure!!
