I don't have a copy of my list as it was last May but... I was reasonably specific such as mentioning 1/2 gallon of 2% milk, Cheerios largest box size with no substitutions(don't like generic cereal), etc. I only used specifics for things that I was reasonably certain could be accomadated such as the cereal. I'm starting to work on our list for our next longer trip in Dec and I will specify Prego spaghetti sauce with mushrooms but won't specify the brand of spaghetti itself, just probably 2 1 lb boxes(I think, must ask mom and grandma how much 6 adults, 2 kids really need). We'll specify about the cereal and the type of milk but not the brand of milk. Really it depends on what you and your family are picky about. They do definitely need some generic size information though but it can be "the largest box of Cheerios" rather than the 21 oz(? don't know how big actually?) or the medium size jar of peanut butter. They were right on time and delivered right to our villa. We will definitely use them again for any trip over 4 nights.
