Wegoshop experiences

We're going to CSR 7/20 through 7/25. I would like to try wegoshop.com but would appreciate hearing how it worked out for those of you who have used it at the Disney Resorts. I've read stuff on the DVC board, but those places are set up differently from regular old resorts. I'm mostly interested in getting some fresh fruits, cereal, and other basic stuff. We're using ME this time instead of renting a car and, because we're there for such a short while, I don't want to spend any time grocery shopping.

So, please tell me about wegoshop. And, if you could provide specifics about how to order and how to arrange for a delivery time, I'd appreciate that. For example, our flight arrives at 12:30 p.m. If I set a delivery time for 3:00, will that realistically work?

I give wegoshop a big thumbs up! They were great. I sent my list of groceries to them about 2 weeks before we left. I asked for fresh fruit, juice, milk, water, chips, crackers, cookies, a styrofoam cooler. I specified name brands, if that was important, and asked for them to shop at Publix, per the recommendation of fellow Dis'ers.
When we checked into our room, I called and gave our room #. They arrived right on time. I received exactly what I asked for. The wonderful woman rolled our groceries right into our room. She was very kind! She also provided a receipt in case I was curious on prices. I will most definitely use them again!

We used them last year. You just go to their website, choose the area you want and type in your order. You can even tell them what store to go to. When we got into our room we called them and they were at the store shopping for us and told us they'd be there in about an hour. This put them there about a 1/2 hour after we had scheduled them to come which delayed the start of our fun. I had to go out and get dinner for my kids and left my mom in charge of accepting delivery. They missed several basic items on our list and my mom didn't know to check. Be sure you check before you let them slip away. My mom said basically that they dropped and ran, so I would suggest asking them to stay while you make sure you have everything. It is convenient, but there is margin for error. Of course, *I* forget stuff at the store all the time, can't blame them for it happening occasionally too

We used them for our May trip. I don't think I will be using them again. They were 3 hours late (wife was sick). We had a birthday cake for a 2 year old at about 9:00 pm (had to wait for the cake). We had to order pizza and had no drinks. Some of the fruit was bad, a couple of cracked eggs, asked for 1 bag of regular potatoe chips and 1 BBQ we received double of a lot of items. I think I would call a taxi and shop myself next time. We spent more with wegoshop than we would have. I think I could have used a taxi service for the same price of of the delivery charge. Most importantly I would not have wasted my evening waiting for groceries while on vacation.

Nice folks but I will do my own shopping from now on.

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear service has taken a turn for the worse! They were great when we used them. Curious to hear more opinions now, because if service has gone bad, I'll cross them off my list.

We used them in May at BWV and while I would use them again, the service wasn't perfect. They were 90 minutes late and they did make some errors on the items, but we were happy overall.

We used them in April and had no problems. She made a couple substitutions for brands they don't have in the area but I had said in advance that was ok. They were right on time as well.
