Weeks stay at HGVC Sea World

We had a 1 br condo in Paget House at Hilton Grand Vacation Club at Sea World. We were really impressed with the accommodations, and we had a wonderful view overlooking the pool. The grounds were lovely. The staff was very friendly when checking in/out and never mentioned a time share promotion. (I unhooked the phones because I did not want to be disturbed at 8am like we were several times when staying at Orange Lake last year so I don't know if they ever called to invite us to the promotion). I got the week from skyauction and hope to do so again for next year. Definitely a first class resort. I have stayed at Vistana and Orange Lake and this was the best so far. Really great location as well. We spent half the time in the Disney area and the other half at Universal and our condo was right in the middle. Not to mention the weather was absolutely perfect!

The only negative was that other than the main pool at the club house the pools were not heated, so the water was a little chilly. But there was a very large hot tub, and hardly anyone using the pools anyway. We did meet some very nice people from London at the pool.

this is one of the best resorts in Orlando - my opinion - I have stayed there several times.

they don't generally call you for the timeshare thing if you say no - that is enough - they do call about changes to their schedule activities.

I love the big tub - with the water coming down like a water fall - very, very cute!!!

We had a room at the west side of the resort which had its own pool. It was heated when we were there. the only pool (of the three) that wasn't heated was the water fall pool in the main area. I bet my son an ice cream sundae that he couldn't swim to the falls and back in that pool. He took the bet and won the sundae.

It is a great resort. I liked the croquet court and the movie theater and the daily sundae specials at the pool.
