I think I am going to get the Lysol Healthy Touch Automatic soap dispenser for the downstairs powder room. I hope a coupon comes out.

Get $8 ECB wyb Lysol Healthy Touch Antibacterial No-Touch hand soap system $11.99 Limit 1

I love the one I have in the kitchen. I refill it with the Softsoap liquid hand soap big refill bottles. I get those at Walgreens when they are B1G1F and each bottle will fill up the Lysol thing several times. So for around $7.99 I get 2 big bottles of the liquid hand soap and can fill up the Lysol thing about 10 times!!!

Great idea Maggie. I tried that but with another brand unit and it was too thick:headache: I am going to to this deal too. Did you check the date? Just want to make sure everyone sees this is not foe next week but the following week:lovestruc made a little bit of a oooops in the wee hours:lmao:

Yes. I saw the date! Its good to be prepared ahead of time!!!

Maggie

Thank you so much Flaky for all the hard work that you do. Thought I would give this a bump since the sale starts tomorrow. I have a question. At CVS I received a $5.00 off 2 Almay Color Cosmetics. Does this include the i-Color that is on sale?

Ok i posted a few weeks ago that i was going to start up again on my CVS shopping BUT i have to tell u there have been no good deals - I've now decided to tryout RiteAid! i will miss the ecb's and it seems u have to layout alot more money and then wait to get it reimbursed each month!

Do u use a seperate credit card so u can see how u are doing money maker wise - any suggestions for starting up?

thanks

lisa

I will have to do alot of transactions i see...i will start with the smaller UP's

Lisa, I'm only familiar with RiteAid since we don't have either Walgreens or CVS around here. But I'll let you know what I do!

First, go to the RiteAid website and watch their video values. The coupons are usually good for a few weeks and they can be combined with manurfacturers coupons. The coupons in the advertisement is also considered a RA coupon, so that too can be stacked with manufacturers coupons.

In the beginning, I did two shops. The first I did to get the UPrewards (similar to the ECBs, I think) and then I recycled the UPrewards on items that I wanted that week that didn't have any UPs back.

My local RiteAid restocks on Thurs night/Fri morning, so if I go earlier in the week, I get rainchecks for those items out of stock and go back on Friday to try to get those deals.

If you're just starting, this is going to seem crazy, but once you spend $500 (??) you get an additional 10% off items at the store (if its not already on sale more than 10% off); after $1000 its 20% off for the next year (not calendar, but a year from when you qualify). I use this 20% of get discounts on items that don't usually have coupons in my area, like milk or books.

They don't do this as much as before, but make it a habit to enter your receipts on the RA website in case some items have a promotion or rebates. I've gotten rebates for items I didn't even know there were rebates for. Also check the bottom of those receipts! I got several promo codes for buying CoverGirl cosmetics that I used to get free tee shirts...
Good luck!

so i did my 1st RiteAid - they didn't have the blistex or the cough drops - didn't think to get a raincheck - i'll check back later in the week!

I did get the nose spray for 8.00 (-2.00 coupon) spent 6.00 got 8UPS

Then i needed hair dye so i got

Clairol hair color 7.99 (-2.00 coupon)
Clairol RootTouch up 4.99 (-2.00 coupon)

the manager pushed the coupons thru even though they beeped for some reason and he said the clairol haircolor coupon is not good for the touch up - i was like that is hair color he said no but he'll push it thru - so anyway

i used the 8UPS from 1st order paid a few dollors oop a few dollars and got a 2.00 UPS from the haircolor!

Not the best but i needed the haircolor - maybe i'll stop in later this week for the blistex and cough drops if not i'll see what is on sale next week!

Thank you so much. I don't do too much shopping at rite aid or WALGREENS so I am so happy someone on this thread can be of help:hug:

This has been a great week for me at Walgreen's. I tease DH that I am hunting and gathering. :thumbsup2

I needed to stock up on Keri Lotion and the cheap razor blades are also great to stock up on when you can. I started with a RR that expired yesterday and bought a pack of the Hydro 5 Blades using my RR and the $2 coupon. I am using the Arizona teas as my fillers to get around their stupid one coupon per item policy so that I can use my RR and the coupons.

My second transaction is the Keri Lotion which is on sale this week for $6.99 using a $2 coupon and the $4.50 RR from the razor blades. I have 4 different Walgreens all in my usual daily travels.

If you still have the Tresomme B1G1 coupons they have a nice size hair spray (not trial size, cost $2.99) for travel that can be used as a filler as well.

Another RiteAid question!

Can u only do 1 UP per item and if u can do more - can u roll the UP into the same product?

Also, about the videos do u only watch the ones for items u use or do u do as many as u can and just hope a sale comes up in the next couple of weeks to use the coupon on?

thanx

UPs depend on the product, you have to read the fine print. Some items are only allowed on UP, others (such as Colgate toothpaste in recent weeks) are up to four. And yes, you can buy one, get the UP then go back and use that same UP on the same new item.

I watch the videos at the beginning of the month when they first become available and just watch the ones that I would probably use. Most likely than not, those items will go on sale at some point that the coupon is valid for. And if you print them and lose them, if you didn't use them you can go back and re-print them.

I keep my RiteAid coupons and UPs in a separate envelope. I find its easier to keep track of them that way. So if I'm using a coupon, I check if there's a second coupon from RiteAid.

Like last week, reese and kitkat were on sale 2/$4. There was a manufacturers coupon for $1.25 off if you bought three, and VV of $1 off if you bought 2 bags of each plus UPs. So I spent $8 on chocolate (4 bags), took off $3.25 in coupons and received $2 in UPs. Now, I just used UPs from my previous trip so it cost me nothing OOP and I got $2 to use next time.

and thank you flaky for keeping this thread current every week!

I missed all the drug store sales this weekend because I was at the beach with some friends. I have to stop at all three sometime this week because I have + Ups, ECB's and RR's that will expire while I am at Disney next week. So I need to use them up!

:( I tried to shop last night and didn't too well at all. Lesson learned - definitely go early in the week.

As an aside, anyone know why the Trading thread was moved? Finally needed it again and realized it was moved? :(

Happy Friday, all :)

No kidding. I usually shop on Thursday but there is nothing left:scared1: I don't mind rain checks but when there are so many things out of stock then it is ver hard to figure out a deal:teacher:

Has anyone done the gift card deal? Do you get a coupon for $10 off a gift card or are you bound to get a $10 card? I was thinking about using it toward a SouthWest card, but I think they come in $25 denomintaions.
