Weekly Photo Contest - Mar 31 thru Apr 6 - Postcard Photos

Hi NostalgicDad!,

I have a question regarding you picture VS the exif infos you gave to me.

You wrote that there is a ''15 sec'' shutter for that picture. There is something that tickles me. If you look on the photo, you can see a group of persons (on main street) that are very ''clean'' and not ''blury''.

They should be blury if they move even a little bit :confused3 .

I just want to understant. thanks

Below is a larger shot to show more detail. If you look closer in the foreground there is someone that looks like they are "vibrating" as a result of the long exposure. The people that you refer to are much farther away and with the aperture at f/11, the depth of field would make them a bit more crisp assuming they didn't move too much during the 15 seconds. Also, the size of that photo eliminates some of that detail as well. The original photo at full resolution does show just a little blurriness of that group of people, although not much though. Now, if they moved enough, then you would definitely see them blurred regardless of everything else.

That's a very good question and I hope I've answered it clearly. :thumbsup2
