I got a fandango GC for buying General Mills products this summer- the promotion was for 2 tickets to the Dark Knight. Once the fandango GC is activated you can use it at any movie theatre that accepts it, and it is not limited to just 2 tickets (though that is what they will tell you on the phone line). The card is worth $25 in tickets, or food at the concession stand. We used ours last month for 4 matinee tickets to the new James Bond movie. I didn't realize the card had to be activated- it does not come with one of those stickers on the front, but it does have a CS # on the back.

It's not actually a fandango GC. You buy a specially marked Home Depot GC for $25 to use at HD, and they give you the two free tickets through Fandango. Not a bad deal if you will spend $25 at HD, which apparently a lot of people did because they are all gone...

Jeankeri, I got 4 of the Fandango HD GC codes and I put one of the codes into my Fandango account and it gave me a credit of $25.50...apparently toward any movie tickets. It had not occurred to me to get matinee tickets with the credits (which would be cheaper and leaving more credit toward an additional ticket)! Another money-saving suggestion from the freaps on the Budget Board!!

Hambirg, that Arby's coupon is a good find. They are hard to come by!

I have only signed up for a few t-shirts (some of them very recently), but I did receive the one from Geek Nation for DH and I got another one for DD (I don't remember which one). I only started signing up for them after seeing that some of the other people on this board had received t-shirts. I think it is kind of a hit and miss thing. Sometimes you get lucky...

The one that sticks in my mind that I didn't get was from the Navy and that order form came off the US Navy site.

Sears is giving away a free $10 giftcard with the purchase of $75 in gift cards. Here's the good part. If you plan on spending over $75 on an item/s you can buy a $75 gift card first and get your $10 gift card free. Then make your purchase and you have $85 to spend instead of $75! We did this today at the encouragement of the cashier. I said that it must be cheating the system somehow and he said people had been doing it all day!
