Weekly cvs 9/6-9/12

I have a good one (for anytime)!

In the trial section there is a airline-size bottle of Renu contact solution. It's $1.99. There are $2 coupons at renu.com with no size limitation. Can print 4 of the fresh (I think) and 4 of the sensitive - both coupons work. Combine with the $3/12 Ready-Fill. If you get 7 and use 6 coupons, coupons don't need to be adjusted down, but you will need fillers to cover the "free" money if you don't buy anything else.

Someone on another board discovered this so they could buy 1 sunglasses with something else (found Renu+coupon) to use the $3/12 (and then repeat to get the $10 extra buck for that deal - NOT FOR THIS SALE WEEK) but I am modifying it for free solution and fillers to use the $5/25 Ready-Fill quiz. My surgery daughter has now decided to put her glasses on the shelf and wear her contacts full time. I wish she'd let me post her before and after pictures, she has changed yet again and it's shocking.
How is your DD doing? All is going well for her?

A little OP, but since our CVS summer clearance is now 75% off, does anyone know if the summer clearance will be 90% off starting Sunday?? Our stores still have a ton of stuff and we bought alot of pool stuff last year during the 90% off sale. Just making a plan for this Sunday.
Ours went 905 earlier tonite. There was about 4 of us who pretty much cleaned out the bulk of that section. though our signs did have exclusions which incl outdoor furn, fans, suntan lotions and bug spray, and maybe 1 or 2 other things I have forgotten. I got some really great deals and using a $5/30 and the $4/20, I added a few other things in that I had coupons to cover completely, I spent pocket change. :cool1: I now have lots of fish extender gifts for the kids when we cruise in Nov. :yay: I hope nobody gets mad that I bought some water guns for the boys. :scared1: I figure we are only on a 3 nighter and if I give them out on the 2nd night, hopefully, there won't be any problems. ;) I got some of those really cool coloring/activity pads that use one of those 'magic' pens to make stuff appear. They were only .59 :woohoo: I'm saving those for Cmas. I had 2 carts full of stuff.:rolleyes1 But, I only used less than $5 after all my coupons and such. Can't beat that at all. :cool1:

BTW, Lana jae, I can't get that coppertone coupon to print. Do you have any other links. That link comes up
The requested resource (/servlet/) is not available.
thanks for any help you are able to offer. :goodvibes

She is great, too great in fact and can't understand why people don't recognize her. Also being chased by boys (and men :scared1:) for the first time in her life and enjoying it a little too much. She's a late bloomer lol

WTG on hitting 90%! I would rather see kids with water guns on a cruise over adults who have self-induced balance problems and are spilling sticky drinks! There are warnings about replica and toy weapons not being allowed, but I don't think water guns count as they use them for the kids' programs on many ships.

Does this link work for Coppertone or do you get the same error?: http://promo.iqadvantage.com/servle...o.iqadvantage.com/servlet/ContentServlet/HREF

Would the $4/1 Schick Quattro Titanium coupon work on the Schick Quattro Women's refills?

Maggie

I have the red plum from 8-16, but it does not have the dove chocolates coupons.

Does someone know why?

I love 90% clearance!!!!

Maggie

Look at the family code on the coupon UPC and compare it to the razor UPC, bold is family code: 0 111222 5

If the family code is something like 100 on the coupon and the razors have a code like 123, it will work. 100 would mean many products made by Schick. Sometimes they are identical and that means the coupon only works on the exact product.

I have a difficult time explaining this, but google "decoding coupons" and you'll get a better answer if what I wrote doesn't make sense.

We got Dove coupons, but only for Target. It's a regional decision when things like this happen.

Thanks. I'll look for the coupon decoder.

The coupon for the Schick Quattro Titanium is good for refills too, not just the razor. I wasn't sure if it might work for the Schick Quattro Women's refills too. They are both Quattro but one says Titanium and the other says Women's.

OK. It looks like the family code is 000.

Are you buying a paper from a medium sized town or a very large town?
For example the coupons in Fort Wayne, IN are never as good as the coupons from the Indianapolis paper. In Iowa I would guess the Des Moines coupons would be better than say Waterloo.

The Hefty one LanaJae had was for $1 whereas mine were for .55 on 2.
I do have the Dove in my paper and it's not exclusive to Target.

Sometimes the printables are regional so people share their zip codes when they find a great deal using a printable coupon sometimes. Last week my zip code didn't pull up the $3 Glade but the zip code for Dayton, OH did.

I love 90% clearance!!!!

:yay: :woohoo: :yay: Once again, you AMAZE me! Those are totally awesome numbers! I went to the new Woodbury and found 90% off which thrilled me, but then I headed to Mahtomedi and there's is still 75% off and Anthony said, "I think we're behind other stores. Not sure when it's going to be 90%." Which stores have you been able to find 90% at?

Waterloo?, I have a funny story from there.

On the way home from New Orleans, we went through Iowa instead of IL and Wisconsin. I fell asleep and my husband passed Iowa City - I had the GPS to stop at CVS there and he somehow thought I wouldn't remember. Anyway, we stopped at Cedar Rapids and went to a great CVS that had good stock and the cashier was so nice, but it was there that I discovered they charged 5 cents for every can, etc. lol

So, I am getting to the point... I then wanted to stop in Waterloo since Cedar Rapids was friendly. The store there was in a big mall and had absolutely nothing in stock. I asked an employee if they had something because I could see the truck had been there (red tubs all over) and the lady said, "NO! The coupon ladies come and raid our store and take everything - if the limit says 10, they take 10! and don't bother going to the other store either cause they hit that place first!"

Hi - did you find good stuff? I only went to both Woodbury stores, I have a post-it in my car that warns me not to step foot in Maplewood anymore - our favorite cashier was mean to me for the last time.

Forgot to say that I told Rob this morning that Mahtomedi stayed at 50% last week and he said the new manager there has chosen to go slower. He said that seasonal markdowns are corporate set to 50% and then it's up to each store to do what they want after that. I got there when the store opened and he was on his way to activate the markdown and then it took 15 minutes before the registers showed it. Terry had it activated by the time I got over there.

There is a hanging display with Neosporin and either Hello Kitty or Sponge Bob bandaids that is also on the season markdown list (69 cents now). The cashier took them all, but gave me one when Rob brought it over so I want to look for those at other stores, just not feeling well enough to go look today.

All of our stores here in our town are 90% off of summer stuff. I got a ton of stuff after going to 3 different stores. My daughter has a pool, so we restock on goggles and pool toys every year. Noodles were .29 and that was one of the expensive things. I got 15 bottles of bubbles for .09 each. They had lunch bag coolers, basketballs, and other lawn games. Got lots of bug candles for next year. I love 90% off sales, especially since they are so easy to do the math. We got Disney sunhats for the grandkids for .99 (reg. 9.99). We are all set for next summer now and did get extra water wings for that Oct and May trip to WDW.....hmm I think they were .59

Loved your Iowa story! :rotfl:

I really made the rounds today hoping to do half as good as you did :worship: but only did well at the new Woodbury and the Maplewood store. "She" was there but the young, nice, dark-haired cashier was at the CR (thank goodness!!). My find there was the cutest tote bags (black with embroidered flip flops, beach chairs, etc. on them) for $1.29 each (90%). I plan to fill them up with CVS stockpile items and give them to friends/relatives. I also went to the old Woodbury (They said LanaJae has been here and cleaned us out of the good stuff.....LOL), Maryland (75% there and nothing much left), and W. St. Paul (75% and nothing exciting). I might head back to Mahtomedi tomorrow and hope it's at 90% because I could use some of those bags of charcoal. Got the last three at the new Woodbury this morning. .65 for a 9# bag. Love it!! I think all the stores should get lessons on how to treat customers from Rob and all the cashiers at the new Woodbury store. They are the absolute best!

And I bought some of those cookies you recommended. :lovestruc Yum!

Just back from CVS!!! WAAAAHOOOO! I hit the mother load this time!

3 Dove chocolates (stocking stuffers!)
8 things of bubbles (stocking stuffers!)
3 waterslides
2 Covergirl coverups
2 Nutrishield sunscreen (I have so much of this, it'll go in stockings too!)
3 John Frieda Shampoos
1 Schick ST3
1 Scope mouthwash
2 Neutrogena makeups
2 Schick Quattros
2 Renus

Total: $186.23!
After coupons and ECBs: $0.11!!!!!

The guy behind me paid for it for me he was so impressed!! LOL

I just sent my dh back for more of the waterslides/toys. They were $1.09 each. Perfect for those summer birthdays for the nephews!

Then I went to Rite Aid. I got:

Fiber One
2 Magic Erasers
1 Bic Soleil (I thought it was on sale. It wasn't)
1 Skintamate
1 Shout
2 Dove Chocolate bars

Total before coupons: $25.09

Not bad?! Fabulous!! :cool1: :cheer2: :yay:

I got shot down from using 2 of the $4 coupons for the Schick blades. She said I could only use one since it was BOGOF. Oh well. I still got them because its still a pretty good deal. I prefer to get the refills than the razors so whenever there is a decent deal, I'll get it.

I got

2 Wisk detergent $4.96 x 2
2 Schick blades $9.99 each BOGOF
1 CVS cocoa butter lotion .99
-$1.50 Wisk coupon
-$4 Schick coupon
-.99 CVS free lotion coupon
-$4/$20 CVS coupon
-$6 ECB
I paid about $5 OOP since they wouldn't take one of the $4 Schick coupons that I had planned on using.

We were low on detergent and the Wisk included the HE variety so I picked that up. I lost a few ECB, but I usually spend money OOP for detergent, so its ok.

Do you think they would freeze well? I like them that much. Of course I could bake cookies, but $1 for a big package is a better deal.

I had never thought of freezing them but I do not see why it would hurt. Cakes freeze very well and cookies have most of the same ingredients. We all know M&Ms freeze well. My grandchildren will swear to it.

We went to a flea market today for the first time in many years. Now I know what most people are doing with all the bargains from CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid etc. I would walk by a booth and tell DH I have all this stuff in my "supply closet" just not as many of each. :cool1:

One place had Ped Eggs, Ped Egg refills, Smooth Away, and those bra things so your straps don't show for $2 each. I bought refills for my Ped Egg but wonder where they got those so cheap?
