Weekly 'Big Shop' Orlando Style

Was in Birmingham Selfridges yesterday with DD when we happened upon their food department. They sell a number of popular American food products such as Betty Crocker cake mix, Teddy Grahams, Animal Crackers etc & her personal favourite Nestle Lucky Charms at a very reasonable £7.99 a box and no I'm not joking about the price. She was quite upset I wouldn't buy her any! It got me wondering if any of you do what we do at the end of our holidays when we do a 'big shop' to stock up on our favourite things to take home, ie: a couple of boxes of Lucky Charms one each for DD & DS, DH likes Peanut Butter Ritz Bits & Reeces Nutrageous, Twizzlers & Tootsie Rolls for me.... I could go on & on .....

So what's on your shopping lists?

Definately Mountain Dew (DH's favourite) plus Lays potato chips & Fruit Loops, (that's just the food), towels, Haines underpants & socks for DH (yes, I know!!! ), Pepto Bismal (before you could get it here), Tyranol, clothes and anything we can from WalMart, and last time we went we came home with a stroller!!

And this is the worst one.. we buy 6 months supply of soap from Bath and Body Works!!

I agree totally about Secret - I am sure the amount we bought last trip would have looked very suspicious had we had our cases checked and I am already wishing I'd got some more.

We also do the same with the Bath and Body Works. We made the mistake of telling M-I-L last time and she was disappointed we didn't get her any so DH has a list already for the business trip he may or maynot be taking to Boston.

DH put his foot down about the Princess Pull-Up-Pants but they do stock them here now so I have forgiven him.
