We got up early on Saturday... headed to AK. We had breakfast in Tusker House (great danish) and fast passed the Safari. We went to "Countdown" and kids also went on "Prime. Whirl". It was soooo hot. We have been in AK so many times and it usually is the hottest park... but this was beyond HOT! We must have had several soda's and waters before we even got to the Safari. It was now time for "Safari" and once again we saved "Little Red". Our driver on Magical Express told us that the reason that the lions stay on those rocks is that they cool the rocks in summer and heat them in the winter. Interesting fact... so cool of Disney. Now if we could only get them to cool our seats on the safari.. Joking of course. Once again we passed through Hrambe Village and stopped to get cold water. We laughed as we watched a young girl take some ice from where the bottles are chilled... suck on it for a while and then spit it back in the pile. Learned one thing... don't eat the ice. LOL We then quickly detoured over to MGM and met up with DS other friend who resides in Fla. Great to see her again.... she was with us on our trip in May as well. We then had lunch and went back to Millionaire. This time DS got in the "hot seat". He was doing rather well but was thrown by a meteor shower question. He did manage to get his hat and pins and his t-shirt and pins once again and his collection is growing. We then went on Star Tours and and it started to rain. We can't complain ...very short shower and it was over. Kids then went on RNRC and DS's friend went on this for the first time. They lied to her about the ride (not nice) but she overcame her fears and now is addicted. DH and myself went back to the resort for a while and told kids we would meet up with them for dinner at Cape May Cafe. Dinner as always was great and once again.... we headed to MK to see Spectro Magic and Wishes! Heat lightening held it up for a bit but we were glad to be able to see the magic happen once again. Later in the evening we hopped the monorail to Contemp. and took bus to PI to CW. We saw two shows that evening and they were good. Good day came to a close and we headed back to CSR around 2:00 AM. Tomorrow is the last day of this quick weekend. We tried to do as much as we could but having been there for at least 7-9 days in the past ...this trip was a "do what you need to do and next trip a do what you want to do". We made the best of it and enjoyed the heck out of it. :Pinkbounc

It sounds so hot!!!!

After growing you in Fla, I learned to avoid trips in the summer, but we'll be there next summer, braving the heat. Thank you for reporting back!
