My family usually takes longer trips to WDW - 10 days or more - every other year or so. I hate to travel, so a plane ride needs to have a solid cushion on the other side before I get on a plane again!

At the very last minute, I've decided to take one of the kids for a special weekend trip. We'll arrive in Orlando at around 9:30am next Friday and depart at around 10:30pm on Sunday night. Two nights at Pop Century and 3 days at the parks. We have decided that we will be do MK-AK-MK for the short trip with very early mornings and very late nights.

We're going to pack as light as we can and forgo the checking of bags. I'm looking for tips for making the most of a short trip and what we should leave behind. Thanks for suggestions!

DH and I live about 2.5 hours away and all of our trips are weekend trips! I promise it's not too bad!

The biggest thing is to take midday breaks. 3 days of parks in a row is a lot. For us, at least! Plan your FP strategically and decide how important certain attractions are to you and your family. Even if you aren't typically a commando family, be one for this trip. Have a loose plan that makes logistical sense and try to stick to it!

I'd make one ADR a day but no more. If at all possible, don't bring bags into the parks.
