Howdy Weekend Riddlers...
Put on you creepy Logic Caps cuz we got one spooky problem....
Prolific horror novelist Steven Jeepers has published five books in the last two years (Creepers, Fear Itself, The Name of Evil, The Pit, and Them). Each book pits a different main character (three women-Brandy, Jennifer, and Yolanda, and two men-Hector and Rodney) against a different batch of horrible creatures (mummies, poltergeists, vampires, warlocks, and zombies). Can you determine the order in which the five novels were published, and match each with its main character and creatures?
1. The Pit, which features Jennifer, wasn't Jeepers's first book.
2. The book featuring Yolanda (which isn't Jeepers's latest) came out sometime after the one featuring Brandy (which wasn't Jeepers's first).
3. Rodney is the protagonist of Them.
4. The first novel doesn't feature either warlocks or Hector.
5. A female character narrowly escapes from zombies in the novel immediately preceding the one about poltergeists.
6. Three consecutive books from Jeepers were the one about Hector, the one about vampires, and The Name of Evil, in that order.
7. Hector isn't the main character of Fear Itself.
