Took my daughter in law for her belated birthday pedicure and lunch today-just her and I, we do this every year for her birthday! We had the best time!

We are to get a ice storm tonight into tomorrow so probably watching dance moms reruns with DD and the dogs

Another one in quarantine here. We had to do five days because of a direct contact. If we remain symptom free we get to go back to work on Tuesday, but I still can't pass the screening for mom's senior living facility.

Quarantine as well. Daughter took PCR today, so hopefully we get results Monday or Tuesday. She works in a pharmacy and one of the employees was exposed last week, she took binax test on Tuesday and Wednesday (both negative) so she continued to work. The employee also got a PCR test Tuesday it came back late Thursday as positive, of course Thursday night our daughter had a low grade fever and some congestion which has continued. Headache and slight sore throat for me and husband has had slight sore throat so we are all isolating waiting her results. Chances were high for her to get a breakthrough case working in the pharmacy so we are not overly surprised if she ends up positive.

We traveled to Indiana, Maryland, back to Indiana, and back to Illinois after Christmas, back this past Wednesday. We were incredibly careful, including masking everywhere, gloves, sanitizer, wipes, etc., even through the hotel rooms. But DH and I are self-quarantining a bit to make sure we don't get it or infect anyone. No symptoms, but not really wanting to take a chance.

Yesterday was spent vegging in front of the television -- watching junk Food Network stuff - Chopped and Holiday Baking Championship. Taking down Christmas today. We didn't put much up, so it's not too involved this year.

On the bright side, I made black bean soup and cornbread for dinner Friday, and have pot roast and veggies in the crockpot for dinner tonight.
