Anyone have fun weekend plans? Nothing too exciting here, but we did just get some snow so we will probably do some hiking outside tomorrow as well as just relaxing and mini house projects. What are you guys up to?

I am actually on vacation from work, but I almost forgot and was about to start getting ready for work today when my co worker texted me about I was luck to be on vacation lol.
So I am off for a few days so I’m going to make some chocolate fudge and get my free bday dozen from Krispy Kreme lol.
And do some stuff I haven’t been able to so because I had a project to do at work before I left and I was determined to work until it got done lol.
maybe hit Busch Gardens Williamsburg on Sunday.

And Monday made my booster appointment so if I get wicked side effects like the second one gave me I’m all ready off lol

Flying to disney world for 8 days at art of animation. Celebrating wife’s 50th and our 25th anniversary. Delayed a few years from Covid. But we are going. 3x shots and n95 it up.
Congrats and have a great time!

Tomorrow, I'm helping Oldest strip his bed, washing everything, lysoling the matress & pillows since it will be 9 days post +. I'm making carrot cake with cheese frosting for DH's birthday.

On Sunday celebrating DH's birthday early since he's working on his birthday this coming week. Just us 4 like always. Going to make family Sunday breakfast. Then for dinner it's low key of grabbing some takeout sandwiches from his favorite sandwich place and we'll have veggie cowboy beans, mac/potato salad, & chips.

We're flying and going to Disney World too. Leave Sunday morning. 10 nights at OKW.
My birthday will be while we're there.

Have fun everyone! We head down at the end of the month- Wilderness Lodge...it's been several years since we've stayed there, so looking forward to it.

As for this weekend - not to much going on. Our niece is coming over to hang with the dogs...she is staying at our house to dog sit while we are at WDW in a few weeks for the first time. It's a trial run for a longer trip we have coming up to Europe in March/April, so hope it works out for her/the dogs & us! I need to pop out to the grocery store at some point. I also have some neglected cleaning chores I need to take care of, and bring some firewood up from the barn. All in all a fairly quiet weekend.

The kids have rehearsal for their spring ballet show. I’m taking down the Christmas decorations (not fun). Otherwise hunkering down with movies & books. It’s been an exhausting week back teaching and I’m fried.

Tomorrow we‘re taking our oldest DD to this super cool store called Dog Supply Warehouse to pick out stuff she’ll need for her new puppy she’s getting in February. This will be her birthday gift, dog supplies. She’s going to be 21 at the end of Jan, and this will be her first dog of her own.

Later tomorrow we’ll help younger DD pack up to head back to college. She hopes to leave around 4 pm.

Sunday, it’ll be cleaning in the morning, and napping in the afternoon. Woo hoo!

It's a pretty humdrum weekend, which is nice. DS14 has his weekly appointment with his autism support specialist and I plan to put up the Christmas decorations. DS14 and I plan to watch The Matrix 3 together tomorrow night. I'm hoping that DS14, DH, and I can see the new Matrix movie in the theater Sunday. DH plans to get some quotes for selling his car Saturday and make hot sauce with DS10 using a kit he got for Christmas. We've got cleaning and laundry to do as well. If we have time, I want us to make room for DH's boat in the shed at his office so he can park his car in our garage.

Same as usual, laundry, pick up groceries, cook, wash dishes, clean house a little. I also need to put all the Christmas stuff away.
