Weekend Entertainment During Off-Season

Our entire family (in-laws, brothers, us, nephews, everyone) is making a trip to DLR the 4 - 7 of September this year. Being an AP holder, I told my MIL this would be a good time for lower crowds, as it's the weekend AFTER the 3-day Labor Day weekend, and the weekend BEFORE Dapper Day and Halloween Time starts.

I did tell her the entertainment would be cut back, but we'd get a lot of stuff done and all the rides (with the exception of Haunted Mansion), no problem...especially being there a THU - SUN.

Now, I'm freaking out...Disney is just now releasing the schedules for the days we'll be there, and I'm not seeing F! or the Fireworks listed on that Saturday the 6th. I didn't expect them to happen on the weekdays during this time-frame, but fully expected them to happen on Saturday. My MIL wanted to do the dessert package, and now it looks like it won't even be showing?

Has anyone known Disney to not have F! or the fireworks on the weekend days, even in low-season??? Or is there a chance they just don't show the entertainment for that date yet? :confused3

In general, Fantasmic and fireworks will only show on Sat and Sun during the "off season". Given that the calendar just started showing those dates, I would wait a few weeks before starting to really worry. The operating calendar often doesn't include full entertainment listings until about four weeks out (or less).

Thanks!

I have to wait until 30 days out to book the dessert package, that's in about a week, roughly...so hopefully it will be confirmed that F! is showing that Saturday by then. :thumbsup2

Today they are listing some of the entertainment now...
Magical Fireworks are scheduled for Friday & Saturday, so hopefully F! will show up on the schedule soon.

Oddly enough, both parks close at 8 PM that Thursday, but WOC runs at 8:15. :)

Originally only HM was going to be closed for refurb...now Jungle Cruise will be as well. Bummer...my son likes that one!

They've done that in the past; staggered the WoC showing until just after the park closes. So it's possible that WoC will show at 8:15 pm even through DCA closes at 8:00 pm.

From wdwinfo.com's refurb I see Jungle Cruise being down from 9/2 to 9/4. Is it going to be down longer? I mostly ask because the weekend is 9/5 to 9/7, so you might still be able to ride it if you're there during the weekend. I know the refurb lists have been in flux this year.

We're there from 9/4 through 9/7...so I hope you're right! I might have mis-read how it was listed. :goodvibes

ETA: You're right. Only down 9/4. :)
