Well, today was our last day! We had no problems checking out of CBR. I called the night before to let them know that I would be leaving about 7am. By 5:30 am, there was a bill on my door! That was easy. DH and I woke up very early. He left to put gas in the car, while I finished getting ready and packing up . We had a PS for Crystal Palace at 8:05 am, so we left about 7. We drove to the MK and got to the TTC (we were the 5th car in the parking lot) by 7:15. There were a few people waiting to get onto the resort monorail and we were finally let on at about 7:25. Once we got to the MK , we just had to wait a little while longer before they let everyone through for breakfast. So many cute princesses!!! We walked up Main Street. That first view of the castle always takes your breath away!!! We checked in at Crystal Palace and then just waited for our server to take us in. This breakfast was amazing. I thought it was better than Breakfastsaurus (food wise). There were plenty of empty tables the whole time we were there. The characters were great. Pooh did not go around to the tables, but stood in the middle , which was fine. DS had all of his Pooh dolls with him (the $11 ones) and would show them to each of the characters when they came around. We had them sitting in the middle og the table. After breakfast, we made our way to the castle and waited at rope drop for Fantasyland. DS and I made it on the first Dumbo ride of the day!!! Then off to Pooh- it wasn't working! Then to Peter Pan- walk on. I love this ride. It is my favorite of the Fantasyland rides. We went over to the Haunted Mansion and it was just us and another family. I think we were the first ones of the day! I rode in a buggy by myself. Then off to Frontierland. I just love Liberty Square in the morning-especially when EMPTY! We walked right on to Splash Mountain at 10am- is this cool or what? It was DS's first time. I was holding his arm so tight! He loved it and the drop wasn't as bad as I remembered. Then FIL, DS, and I went to Thunder Mountain. Again, no wait! Well, right at the end the ride broke down. We had to wait about 10 minutes before they started it up and we were able to get off- it wasn't running after that for the rest of the morning. DH was waiting for us and MIL was sitting down, waiting to go over to TomSawyer's Island. When we reached her, she said that my mom just called and that they were in the pool at Coronado Springs. We took the raft over to TS's and spent a lot of time exploring the caves. DS never tires of this. When we came back over we headed to Adventureland and DS was whining for a coke. This was the closest he had
come to getting cranky the whole trip and I think that's pretty good. So, I got him his coke
and he was happy. We then went to the Pirates and there was really no wait here either. Then everyone wanted to go on the Jungle Cruise (not my favorite), so I went to the Sunshine Tree Terrace to get a citrus swirl. When I came back, they were on their way to the Treehouse. While DH took Ds to the Treehouse, FIL, MIL, and I looked around in Island Supply. I bought a pair of sandals and an anlket . We were ready to leave, so we walked towards Main Street. By now I realized where the Dole Whips were! I'll have to have one next trip! Did a little shopping on Main Street and headed out to the monorail. Being the 5th car parked in the lot wasn't bad. We were on our way in few minutes. DS was asleep before we hit the turnpike and slept the whole way home!!!!!!! Another wonderful trip. We decided to forgo Labor Day Weekend because of the heat, but we'll be back in November!
