Just made ressies for Nov 28-Dec 2 for a short Christmas trip. I tried to book the WL or the GF and everything is full. So I landed at POR- (Dixie Landings).

How are the crowds in the parks for that weekend after Turkey Day? I have been reading where that is the least crowded time until Christmas. So why are all the Deluxe resorts booked?

Has anyone been right after T-giving and can you tell me how the crowds were? Thanks in advance!

If you are talking about this year...than that is Thanksgiving weekend...THE busiest of the year...it's the week following that it usually quiets down.

OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have got to be kidding....where is my Guide to WDW book......then I gotta go get the dad gum phone.....

OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Thank you !

Unfortunately, the last poster is bang-on. U.S. Thanksgiving this year is on Thursday, November 27th...

I always drive down on that weekend and then enjoy the (somewhat) peacefulness that falls over Disneyworld in the weeks that follow Thanksgiving.

However! This year is a different story--for work reasons, I need to be back for our year-end, so that meant changing my holiday dates. We're leaving a week earlier, so we will actually be there for Thanksgiving. Suffice it to say, I am a bit apprehensive about the crowds that will be there, but what can you do? I will always jump at the chance to go to Disney despite what the crowds will be like. So, can anyone shed some light on what it will be like there during this time?

Thanks all!

It will probably be busy that long weekend but it will die down come Monday, December 1.

... the park is crowded from Thanksgiving until sometime Sunday (it's funny to watch the crowds on Sunday... the day starts out crowded, but slowly dies down as people dash off to the airport after getting in their last possible fix). From Monday on, it's usually pretty quiet, which is why I usually go from Saturday (after Thanksgiving) to Saturday.

Well, after I thought about it, my hubby can't get off work any other time, and we have been on busy holidays such as the 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Easter, so I really don't mind if it is crowded. I too, jump at the chance to go to Disney, so it doesn't bother me. Like said before, what can you do? LOL

IM GOING TO DISNEY!!!!!!
