With the new SoCal discount tickets released for January through May, what days would you recommend are best to visit? Weekdays? Weekends? Sundays?

I am curious about this too. We have gone the last week of April in 2019 (crazy busy) and 2021(medium crowds). We are looking at tue-thurs first week of April for 2023. Wondering if weekdays leading up to Easter are going to be a nightmare.

Same. I haven't gotten much of a response on this forum or others though. The only thing I've heard is "March and April are always a nightmare because of spring break." Trying to figure out if that's true for every week and both weekdays and weekends, but not having too much luck.

My suggestion would be to check the MagicKey calendar and plan on days that all but the top tier or 2 are blocked. My best days this past fall were actually weekend days when the Enchant and Imagine Keys were blocked. If you can get a day when Believe is also blocked I would wager it will be even more manageable.

This is interesting - it's our first time doing Disneyland - very used to planning WDW - so something to consider. I looked at the crowd calendars and see one has changed the crowd levels during our week (arriving April 16th) and does put the weekend as lower, whereas other calendar show it is packed.

I also realize the calendars are not accurate, but always interesting to look.

We had planned on doing our disney days M, T, Th, F but might change that now.

Disneyland crowd calendars are ridiculously inaccurate. I agree they are way more useful for WDW. The local MKey base + SoCal ticket offers throw lots into unknown territory. Honestly I don’t even use them anymore and only avoid “opening” days because of the blogger/influencer overload on those days. With 4 days you’ll be able to accomplish everything you want, enjoy!
