week of Oct. 9th?

Is this a crowded time? I am thinking of dong the 10K run on the 9th and could be at the parks the week before or after. I have always wanted to do the F&WF, and the run is as good excuse to go as any! But is it packed? And how is the weather? Thanks!

Last year this week was a great week...not really crowded, great weather. However, with the celebration, it's hard to judge what it will be like this year. Everything is busier than before, so I don't really know.

When and where is the 10k run? Is this something that could boost the attendence that week?
