Just curious to see what ya'll know about going to WDW the week of October 23rd? We went from Oct. 31st to Nov. 5th one year and the crowds weren't bad...just Jersey week! But, everyone we met was soooo nice and we enjoyed it.

Considering going again in October this year. DD will be in Kindergarten and I know September would be a great time to go, but, weather and school just starting has kinda changed my mind!

Thank you guys!

I'll be there the same time. We've been at that time before but it was way back in '99. It was terrific then. I've been the first week in Nov and it was wonderful also. I expect that between Food and Wine Festival and MNSSP it will get crowded at times. But not like July 4 or Thanksgiving week.

hi there, we went oct 20-26th of 2004. it was a blast. there were hardly any waits for the rides in the mk. we went to the mnsshp and rides were all a walk on. we even rode the haunted mansion all by ourselves. during the weej day the f &w was almost empty, even during the evening it wasnt too busy. however on the weekend it did get pretty packed at the f&w. normally we go in the first or second week of december, but i really really loved this time and the halloween party was so much fun. have fun.
p.s. the golf tourney that runs at this time did not make park crowds any busier and we didnt notice any more crowds at the akl.

We were there 10/25-11/1 2005 and it wasn't too bad. Epcot World Showcase always seemed to be packed though because of F&W. We made sure to hit all the Fantastyland Rides at MK in the AM (the Dumbo line was about 40 minutes if you didn't). We had nice weather (mid 70's) and no rain :sunny:
We did MNSSHP on the 31st, which I think was the only night it sold out this past year (?) and I thought the crowds were VERY manageable- you walked onto almost everything! We even did Buzz Lightyear 3 times in a row around 10 pm!

We were in WDW for the 26-30 last year and found it to be a great time. EPCOT, or course, did get a little bit crowded during the evening due to the F&W Fest. Overall though Oct. is our favorite time to go.
