Our spring break is earlier this year than normal. We have always gone in Sept, Dec. or May. Since this is 3 weeks before Easter how bad do you think the crowds would be? Also, is it usually warm enough to swim? My kids would rather swim than go to the parks some days.

The crowds were pretty heavy during that week in March, 2000. But with Fast pass it was "doable".

It was warm enough to swim when we were there.

I'm bumping this back to page one for you. I imagine some of our veterans will have some advice for you.

We're going that same week, so I'm very interested in any insight anyone can give! :)

That's always our spring break - last week in March. We were there last year and the weather was rather cool, which was unusual. Had the zip-off pants for my three dds and was glad I did!

Crowds were not bad at all. In fact, I was surprised at how manageable everything was. This year it will probably start to pick up on that Saturday April 3, as that's the beginning of the "prime" Easter weeks. That's check out day for us!

I usually start checking weather.com for updates about 10 days before we go, so I can pack accordingly.

Thanks for the responses. I'm trying to decide whether to go then or take my DD out for a week in Feb. She's just in kindergarten, so I'm not real concerned about missing school, but they love to swim and I'm afraid Feb. is too cold.

But I'm also afraid that week in March is too crowded. I also have another DD who will be 3 the first of March who has very little patience for crowds. Decisions, decisions. I just gotta go back!:D
