I read this board religiously, and want everyone to know what a big help you have been in planning our trip this year. I was wondering what anyone thought the crowds would be like. We are going Oct 28 - Nov 4 and have seen the historical crowd #'s, but with this Fairytale Pkg, it might be different. Any input is greatly appreciated!

We went Halloween week last year and were pleasantly surprised by the crowds and weather...BUT we missed the famous Jersey week. I have no complaints! It was wonderful!

I'm not sure but you may catch the beginning of Jersey week on the 3rd and 4th?? Maybe someone else can help you more.

Have fun!

something else to consider is that Halloween is on a Friday this year. That might bring a lot of people for a long weekend.

You will hit more crowds on the 3rd and 4th because of Jersey week. I am from Jersey and I even avoid that week. Halloween week is great, this will be our 3rd straight year.

Hoping for a great vacation. Oct.25-Nov. 1 I really wonder how the crowds will be. Went 5 years ago in late Sept. & felt like we had the parks to ourselves. Rode Splash Mountain five times in a row without a wait. Longest wait was for Dumbo, maybe 30 minutes. Wishing everyone a great time.

We will be there the same time Oct 25 to Nov 1. Jersey week is when all of the kids are out of school for teacher's convention and inservice days. Basically alot of families use this week for vacation. Last year we were in Disney for two weeks the second week overlapped Jersey week. The lines went from hardly no wait to almost 45 minutes on some rides. Not a good thing with a toddler. Enjoy your vacation :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We during Halloween week back in 1997. In fact, the days turn out to be exactly the same as this year. We noticed that the parks were definitely crowded; however, not as crowded as when we were there in July.

We had bummer weather that week because of a late hurricane making for a very rainy week. We still had fun. The Food & Wine Festival is going on and Epcot was definitely very crowded in the evenings.

MK closes down early on some days for MNSSHP so keep that in mind. Pleasure Island has some Halloween decor up and some special kind of outdoor show (can't remember tho).

The only reason we chose November this time is because of the price break for value season at the resort. Otherwise, we would have gone in October, but I think a couple weeks earlier than Halloween.

If Jersey Week is historically crowded week, why MK hours are so short ? 7pm ?! May be there will be e-nights, any opinion ?

Thanks!

I've got a question about Jersey week since we'll be at WDW for part of it next year...

Is it busier the whole week or more towards the end of the week? Next year Jersey Week dates are Thursday, November 4
Friday, November 5, and Saturday, November 6.

We'll be at WDW from Oct 30 thru Nov 4 and then we'll be on the DCL cruise from the 4th to the 7th.

Do you think we'll hit lots of Jersey week crowds that Halloween weekend and that Mon - Wed...Nov 1 thru Nov 3??

Or is it just very busy the whole week?

Thanks!

We were there Halloween week last year and had a great time! I had really never been to the park when there were fewer people there, we came home raving about how empty the place was actually. I remember we rode Splash Mountain several times without getting off, same thing with Thunder Mountain...The wait on Space Mountain was less than 10 minutes the whole time we were there...Also, the weather was gorgeous...I'd definitely go back in October/early November!
