Week of Easter Air fares

Normally DS and I drive to WDW for Spring Break but this year his school is out the week before Easter. We want to be back in time to attend Easter services at our church. We will have to fly out Saturday, April 3rd and return home, Saturday April 10th (Easter is April 11th). Do the airlines usually have discounts for week of Easter or can I expect to pay a pretty steep price for our tickets? Thanks for your responses!

I'll bump up your question. I'm still waiting for a decent airfare for March. I'm hoping for a good March/April airfare sale after the first of the year! We can hope, right!?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news... BUT last year the air fare prices for EASTER time were pretty steep compared to the other weeks. We bought our tickets the year prior and the prices kept going higher and higher.

I was going last year for Easter vacation and we actually booked. I think the flight was about $350 (as compared to $225 when we go during the summer). Eventually we cancelled because Delta started with Song and changed everything. My two kids and I ended up trying Amtrak for the first time. I doubt if you will find any reasonable rates.

My only experience with easter rates are with Northwest and they are always very high that week of the year.

It's too bad.
