Week-end chit chat 6/16-17/12

anyone hanging around this week-end??
I"m working on the new changelle that Nan posted then going to work on inkscaping some things for DHS - should be Wizard of Oz and/or Singing in the Rain

I will be around later, need to do a few errands and then set up for some scrapping time.

I will be working on a wedding album, but I may try out a layout for the challenge, I love that sketch and have something in mind for it. Just need to pull the pieces together.

my first thought was a fireworks LO then I saw a western paper pack & went with it
question now is do I want cowboy Mickey or Woody on it

I want a paper piecing on the one that says Howdy Cowboy - should it be cowboy Mickey or Woody
I wonder if I could find Mickey as Woody that I could turn iinto a paper piecing then if we don't see Woody then it would still work for Frontierland
what do ya think??

the Stars are lightly glitter so that counts as the bling the stripe paper turned out to be plaid so I hope that works for Nan

This weekend, I've gotta get cracking on a Bat Mitzvah book for our family's gift to a neighbor - due a week from today. Have all the paper and embellishmements, just haven't had the time to get it underway. DD and I will also be running a "scrappy" table at the reception following - and I need to pre-do a bunch of big tags (or something) that guests can further decorate and write their wishes/messages for the guest of honor. We'll be putting these into a section of the book.

so far no luck on finding Mickey as Woody - did find a few cowboy Mickey's that I might be able to cut out in the right colors but still looking around

I will be making a Bat Mitzvah album next year for my BFF DD...would love to see what you come up with!

That LO looks really good.. I'm thinking a cowboy mickey would be awesome or even a woody would be totally cool!!!

Today:
the family is finishing lunch...
then we are off to town for errands

then the following:
DD and I to work on her tricycle diaper cake for her 4-H gift wrap exhibit
DS16 to get all his rabbit poster items done so we can just put it on the posterboard Monday and seal it up!
DS11 to clean rabbit cages
I need to clean under the basement stairwell
kids need to wrap gifts for tomorrow and sign cards

I'm having the worst time sleeping!!!

oooohh the tricycle cake - I keep thinking I should made one of those for my sister - maybe for Christmas since Sunny Blue (ya that is the baby's name) is2 weeks old now - I won't see her until Thanksgiving

The tricycle cake is being worked on now... it's going together pretty easy!!! She is doing a great job w/a little guidance as I'm the perfectionist...and it must meet my standards before it can be displayed!

I wish I was working on Disney pages! This wedding album is stumping me everytime I try to work on it! Just can't make a decision on anything.... At least their anniversary is not until November, I should be done by then.
