Week before Thanksgiving- Is it crowded?

In our 2 previous visits to Disney, we have gone the first week of December and the last week of January. As expected, the crowds were very lite. Does anyone have any advice/experience about the week before Thanksgiving? Are the crowds similar to Dec and Jan? I see the Unofficial Guide gives it a 2 for crowd control.... just wondering about personal experience though. Thanks much!!!

I've toured during the first two weeks of November but never the week preceding Thanksgiving. I'm going to bump this back to page one for you so that some of our experts can offer advice.

We went the week before Thanksgiving this year and the weather was in the mid 80's all week and 90% of the rides were walk ons. We also got the benefit of seeing the beginnings of the Christmas decorations up. It was really wonderful.

We were there the week before Thanksgiving starting Nov. 12. I think it was a wonderful time to go. The crowds were not bad at all and the weather was fantastic!

Thanks so much for the info --- We are starting to plan our trip for next year and are just so excited! I know the weather is unpredictable, but I think the chance of having a little warmer weather is very enticing!! Plus, to go the week before Thanksgiving is at least a little under 12 months!!!! We are planning on staying at the WL again, which was WONDERFUL!!!

We were there from 14/11-28/11 and it was wonderful. The weather was great and the crowds were fine, they did start to pick up the Wed before Thanksgiving though, I know i have read some posts that the parks were very overcrowded. I didn't find this at all maybe we got lucky. Thanksgiving Day we spent at Typhoon Lagoon and MGM in the evening and it worked out really well , just avoided MK and Epcot due to EMH that day. Went to MVMCP on 27th Nov didn't find it crowded at all. Just a final note the Christmas parades for AK and MGM started on 14/11 and also Osbourne lights so even if you didn't stay until Thanksgiving the holiday decorations were all around which was nice.
