Week before Thanksgiven

I am thinking of planning our first trip to disney the week before thanksgiven. My kids are 3,5 and 9. Can you tell me your experiences with weather, crowds and clothing during this time of year? How does the parks closing early affect the quality of the trip? What time does it start getting dark during that time of the year? Thanks

I went last year the week before Thanksgiving and we WALKED into attractions. I think the longest wait we had was 15 minutes at major attractions. We didn't notice the park hours closing early because it isn't crowded at all. I'm actually planning on returning that same time this year.

The weather was gorgeous - high in low 80's; lows in the 50's.
