week before memorial day

I am planning to go to Disney in May 2007. My daughter will be 2 1/2. Does anyone know if the week before Memorial day is crowded, or the first week of June? We've always gone early May and lines aren't too long or late summer and lines are terrible.

Memorial Day starts the summer rush, and June gets more crowded with each day. So if you are looking for lighter crowds, the week before Memorial Day will be more crowded than early May but better than any time in June.

We are also booking early or mid-May....I have heard and read the crowds aren't outrageous as it's a lull between April school vacations and summer break. My only concern is the weather. DH will not be happy if he's sweating buckets while waiting in lines and dealing with a zillion kids besides our own. Does anyone know how the temps and humidity are at that time?

Last time we went in May we stayed 6 nights. Most of the days didn't seem too hot, but I do remember one day it being hot enough for my 5 yr old nephew to complain. We went back to the hotel and swam for a while and went back to the park at night when it cooled down. Even that day that it was hot the lines were not bad at all so we got on everything we wanted to.
MGM at night was great. We got to go on Tower of Terror twice with almost no line.

We went, I think, the 2nd week in May last year. We got there on Saturday and the next day was Mother's Day. Then on Tuesday, Regis & Kelly were doing a live show from there. We had no trouble with lines at all. Hardly ever waited. That is when we are planning to go next year!
