? Week before Memorial Day weekend.

Hi all! Has anyone ever gone the week before Memorial Day weekend. I'm thinking of possibly trying to get a room for the week before and leaving that Saturday of Memorial day weekend. I was wondering if it gets really busy during that time. I know the weekend would be busier, but I was wondering how the week before was. Any help or advice is very much appreciated.

We did this week in 2008, went home on Memorial Day Monday. The crowds were not bad at all. We have went other weeks in May and didn't think the crowds were any different for this week than the other May stays we have done. The weekend was more crowded but that will not affect your visit.

Thank you so much for the info. I'll be traveling with husband and two children who will be 2 and 7 months. It would just be so much easier without heavy crowds. Thank you again for the info!
