Has anyone ever gone the week before March Break? What are the parks like, how busy, the weather etc...Any input is appreciated, thanks...

March Break varies not only for Canadians but also for the US. We have been going the first 2 weeks of March for at least 6 years and I can tell you that the first week of March is low-med crowds, and then each week gets gradually busier. I was noticing based on Disney's recent change of operating hours, they must hink it is coming around the weekend of the 21st as they rolled back their late closings and only kept that weekend as an 11pm closing. I am sure they base a lot of this on currently sold accomodations but from what I am hearing, accommodations are way down.

Our March Break is the 2nd week of March and it has always been busy but manageable (last year being the worst given that Easter fell the following week).

If you have a choice, go the first week of March rather than the second!

I can't remember exactly the order, but in the Maritimes, the March Break weeks are all different. I think (someone correct me if I'm wrong please) that it's NS the first week, NB the second and PEI the third. I've gone twice on our break, but they were my only two trips I've taken, so I've nothing to compare them with! I found that I got a lot more done when I followed a touring plan, so I didn't really have a problem with the crowds.

Many U.S. school districts don't actually have their Spring Break until April.

We went the week before our March Break last year (March 3rd) and spend the week at WDW. It was excellent. If you went early (rope drop) then you could easily hit any of the parks and not run into lines until lunch time (and even then it was not bad).

By the end of our week, the cheerleaders had started showing up. I had read about Pop Warner cheerleader competitions... but OMG, I have never seen so many little cheerleaders in my life. They were arriving and traveling through the parks by the bus full. I was glad we were leaving when we did.

Our family has always gone for 2 weeks that includes March Break and the week prior and we've seen great weather every year luckily. One year it rained a bit but not enough to wash out a day. Crowds were not bad as you expect them and just be prepared to get fast passes for long line rides. Disney Studios always seems to be the busiest with the Cheerleaders. Last year, the fast passes for Rockin Roller Coaster were totally gone for the day by noon. We have no regrets going this time of year and are planning again for our 13th March Break trip.

Tried every week from mid feb to end of march for the last years....first week of march is a breeze...enjoy:thumbsup2

It's not the Canadian March Breakers you need to worry about - it the US!! And not just young school age. I know that a couple of years ago, the first week we were there a large portion of Texas had March Break and then the following week (our March Break) it was Florida's March Break. But as mentioned, it isn't like Easter or Christmas so totally manageable. It's kind of funny but you start realizing who has the breaks as you see the car liscence plates and speak with the people in lines and they are often all from the same places.

Have never had the pleasure of bumping into the cheerleaders......

March break in New Brunswick is the first week of March... In exactly 55 days... but who's counting!:rolleyes1 So far, it looks like it won't be too bad - according to the polls - that is!
