Week before Easter

I'm looking for help...how crowded are the parks April 4th-11th (the week before Easter)? I'm afraid this would be too busy a time to go...Lines???
My hubby wants to go during our daughter's Spring Break from school, instead of taking her while school is in session (and they won't get out until June 18th).

DM can confirm, but it will probably be building up to a busy week. Busier than normal, but not too crazy. Are you staying on site? If you are, you have nothing to worry about.

I want to stay on-site, but I haven't checked availability yet. What do you think my chances are? This will be our first time at Universal, and we'll probably drive so that we can splurge on the hotel.

We will be there part of that week, also. We were there the wek before Easter last year, too. It will be crazy by mid-week, but not as bad early in the week. We stayed on site last year (and will again this year) so were able to ride without long lines.
