First, don't you just hate it when family decides way after the 11-month window that they might like to join you on your WDW trip? I'm such the forward planner, and, of course, booked March 19-25 right at the 11-month window. Today, mom and grandma decide to go with, and, of course, BCV only has one day of the six nights available. I waitlisted for the rest.

Anyone have luck booking BCV for that timeframe in recent months/days? I'm trying to figure out just how far on the waitlist I can guess we are.

Thanks!

A CM once told me that the week before Easter is busier than the week after. Last Easter, we were waitlisted at the 7-month mark for BCV for a one-bedroom, but it never came through. I even called every day right before we came down with the hope that someone might cancel. For Easter 2005, I called at the 7-month mark and was able to get a one-bedroom - no waitlist (they said its because of SSR being open)! I'm guessing its 50/50. You never know!

I booked a 1 bedroom at the 7 month mark for BCV without any problems. Last week I decided I wanted to flip part of the vacation (put the stay at BCV at the beginning of the week and the stay at VWL at the end of the week). They said the studio was booked for BCV but I was okay for the 1 bedroom. I bet you are not far done the wait list.

Thanks for the replies folks. I'm hoping it comes through. If not, I suppose we could take the days we do end up with and have mom and grandma wing it in our studio on bed and we take sleeper sofa for remaining days--as long as the waitlist comes through with consecutive days!
