Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

Just had a Disney scare! My MIL texted me saying she wasn't sure how to pay her balance- that was due 2 days ago apparently they gave us a couple days grace time and we got it paid today but I was sweating for a few minutes there.

Yikes! Glad they didn't cancel everything!!

I bet you were! That's enough to give anyone a heart attack! So glad they gave you a grace period and that it is straightened out. Isn't having it paid in full such a weight off?

I need some help with planning.. We are monorail hopping on Friday night 11/25 on arrival afternoon. I did make a reservation at Narcoossee's on Friday night at 820. My hope was to watch the fireworks then head back to BC. I really wanted a Cali Grill for that night but having no luck. Should we just eat at Wave in contemporary and then watch the fireworks from beach at poly or GF?

We drove through Nashville and Murfreesboro on our last trip to wdw! Did you see us??

We are going to have so many magic bands after this trip! What are you all doing with them afterwards?

My oldest wore his for months after our trip. He finally lost it at a friend's house playing and was devastated!! They found it and have been holding onto it, I finally got it back last week and he's been wearing it daily ever since.

Our last set is all on a different MDE than this trip so they will hopefully be used as SDFP bands after this trip we will have 12 total haha.

I would eat at the Wave and then watch the fireworks on the beach! But I don't do well with a big dinner that late...

So on our last day, Saturday the 3rd, we have a breakfast at Chef Mickeys, and a late lunch (1) at BOG. We will leave to start our drive home after that. We have never done park time on arrival or departure days. I don't think they will let us stay parked at the Contemporary while we go to the MK, right? Should we park at Mk, take the monorail to the Contemporary, and then just go to the Mk from there?

I believe you have resort privileges until midnight the day of checkout. Please correct me if I'm mistaken!

I've read you can't park there for just an ADR. I would suggest parking at MK. If you ride boat to MK I would suggest walking to Contemporary. It is literally a 5 min walk. Either way I would only suggest walking back to MK. The monorail runs clockwise and takes longer as it stops at poly & gf. I'm thinking you want to hit the park to soak in as much as possible before BoG.

Good call on walking. I don't know how much time we will have, but I did manage to get 3 fastpasses in the time we are there just in case. I really want to use our Haunted Mansion one if it doesn't get cancelled.

Good call on walking. I don't know how much time we will have, but I did manage to get 3 fastpasses in the time we are there just in case. I really want to use our Haunted Mansion one if it doesn't get cancelled.

Since you're driving home you will be fine. 30m leaving will not break you. Enjoy your last day!!

If you drive from OKW to MK you will be parking at the TTC. You can't walk to the Contemporary from there. You could ride the resort monorail from the TTC around to the Contemporary (it would be the last stop as it goess TTC-->Poly-->GF-->MK-->CR, but it seems like lately in the morning especially it's not running. If the express monorail is running you could take that to MK then walk to CR. If neither monorails are running then you would need to take the ferry to MK and then walk to the CR. From the CR you can walk to MK.

It sure isn't. I miss the days when it seemed like a monorail came every few minutes.
