Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

That's great! The grumpy shirts they have are hilarious. This one is very fitting for our DHs I'm sure. ;)

I figured you'd like the Sadness sleep shirt. I can relate to it so much on normal days, I'm sure I'll relate even more after our Disney days! :crutches:

I just hope it all fits or I'll have to pay for return shipping since I don't have a disney store close to me. That's why I kept it to hoodies and sleep shirts for me so I could guess big!
I do love that Sadness sleep shirt! How'd you know? lol ;) I couldn't resist that Grumpy shirt - we love Zoolander, it's too perfect. Good call on the hoodies and sleep shirts sizing.

You're correct, and the bus only goes TO the Springs, not back. Quickest way back would probably be to grab a bus to the Swan or Dolphin (which one is closest to DHS? I can never remember) or Boardwalk.

Thanks, that makes sense! The middle of our HS day may be open, I was hoping we could scoot over to DS - but if the travel eats up too much time it may not be feasible. :(

I'm on a weight loss mission. (again). Down about 10 lbs so far with many many more to go. Shopping for clothing is going to be difficult enough in person, let alone online. But gotta get the Etsy orders in soon to allow for shipping. I tend to prefer my clothing a little baggier than most people anyway.

Hey, nice work!

Ah good suggestion, but we are going to Universal first. That's going to be a non-ME trip anyway you look at it. For the trip back to the airport, we'll be in Epcot probably until it closes at 9:30pm and you never know we might want to hit up Disney Springs or the Boardwalk one more time. So I wasn't too keen on setting a firm pick up time there anyway.

I was looking into a towncar deal instead of uber, since we have a few trips (airport to Uni, Uni to WDW, WDW to airport). But then you lose the convenience of being flexible, which we will want to be flexible for 2 of the 3 trips.
Towncar I got was $160 for airport to
Uni then uni to wdw then wdw to airport. He gets lots of good reviews on the uni boards in case you're interested.

Way to go! 10lbs is something to be proud of.
I am trying to get back into shape too. Trying to get back in the habit of working out 4-5 days a week. Gotta be ready for all that Disney walking.

I've started running again - about 8 weeks after my PE nightmare at that. Such a relief, since i spent 2 days in the hospital wondering if I'd be able to walk around Disney without being short of breath!

I'm no distance runner, but 3 miles on my treadmill a few days a week makes me feel ready to take on the parks with a double stroller lol

That's great! My surgery both interfered with my workout plans and kicked my butt into gear at the same time. I really kind of hate running (why's it gotta be so hard?!). My favorite cardio right now is doing intervals on the treadmill where I jog/run for 30 seconds, then walk for 60 seconds, and repeat over and over and over again. The goal being to increase speed and then endurance so maybe running won't be so dang hard for me.

So you call and set up all 3 trips at once? That's not too bad for price.

I hear you - running is not easy for me, but I have a bad shoulder (from years of waitressing) so anything that requires weights above my head, or pushups/burpees is out. Running is the only cardio I can do. Even too many jumping jacks means I can hardly move my right arm the next few days. So lame!!

That's how I do all of my cardio too. It slowly builds you up without making me want to avoid the gym because it wants to kill me!
Just leaving the gym now! :yay:

Yay good job! I have a gym in my basement so I have no excuses. I agree that the intervals make it a lot more bearable. It also seems to make it go faster because you are always looking at the time til the next interval. I used to have to actually watch the clock and figure out my intervals manually on my older elliptical. Now I have a treadmill that I can program to do it, phew! The treadmill was my gift to myself after losing 55lbs 2 years ago, which I've since gained it all back... :rolleyes1

I just scoped out some awesome Disney ugly Christmas sweaters. I almost ordered them because they were cheap, but then I realized this is disney and people would probably miss the joke and think they were meant to be cute!

I've never been much of a runner, but I walk every day for about an hour, mixed in with various Jillian Michaels DVDs lol. Is anyone on here a fit-bit person? I'd love to have a fit-bit step challenge in Disney!!
