Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

Ok Who all is planning on nighttime at MK on the 30th? I see a few people who put their plans on the group google doc are. Who else??

We should totally scope out a good fireworks spot as a group!!
We'll be at MK on 11/30 for the Fireworks and EHM!

11/28 we're doing F! and then maybe walking to EPCOT for Illuminations.

Sweet! Once plans get worked out and schedules released let's try to set up something! Power in numbers, and fun people to chat with :D

Same! Aren't we in Epcot the same day!? Let's coordinate a secret meet up and tell the husbands we have migraines and need to leave for a nap.

And by nap, I mean drinks around the world!

Wait, what day is this?!? :drinking1

I am! I'm planning either HS or EP that day and hopping to MK if we are up to it. I kinda wanted to experience the regular Wishes that night since the next night is our party night and holiday wishes.

30th Ive got AM HS without FP, afternoon in Epcot with FP (hopefully for FEA!) and dinner, then hop to MK for wishes.

I haven't seen wishes in probably 20 years - I'm determined to do it this year, with or without my family haha.

Now to figure out where to watch from - the hub scares the bejeezus out of me with its crowds :scratchin

Whoa, a 3-park hopping day?? I haven't been brave enough to consider that.

I agree about the hub and crowds. I am determined to stake out a good spot on my party night, but for regular wishes I don't think I'll go through much hassle about a spot for that one.

That is brave. We are doing MVMCP on the 29th, so taking it easy a bit on the 30th - plans for AK, probably just part of the day.

Have you seen this map of Robo's?

Well I certainly dont want to be packed in on main street. Yikes! I think the left side of the hub might be ok if I had hours to spare and stake a spot out or was with a large enough group (cough cough).

But really, I think we need to find access to the rooftop of the stores. That seems like the PERFECT spot :rotfl2:

Probably more stupid than brave, especially with an almost 3 year old in tow. I have high hopes he is exhausted enough to crash in the stroller while we wait. Then he can wake up to CTM and amazing fireworks and it will be perfect and super magical. And he will be too young to really remember it anyway :P

We watched it right on the top edge of the "good" viewing spot, near the Fantasyland walkway. The view could have been better, and it was super crowded. But it was magical anyway. :) We escaped up the walkway to Fantasyland while everyone else was heading for the buses, and rode an empty Barnstormer a bunch of times before we had to leave.

I wonder how far in advance the grassy spots to sit on get snatched up...do people respect a blanket on the ground as territory if 1 person is there with it? Do people sit the whole time or insist on standing last minute? How big of a nightmare would a potty break be at 9:45pm with a 7yo?

I need sleep. And help.

Wow! That is a busy day!!

We will be at HS on the 28th and MK for EMH and wishes. I was going to see Electric Light Parade but....:sad::sad:
