Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

5 park days was so easy to plan, but potentially adding a 6th is really throwing me for a loop. So silly, but I can't decide what to do with it!

Maybe we will hit AM EMH at HS like I planned, use our 3FP there early then head over to Epcot when the crowds get too much at HS for the afternoon and dinner. We really didn't get to explore the world showcase much last trip.

But then I was planning on doing HS full day on Monday, but that seems redundant. my 7yo LOVED hollywood studios though, so maybe 2 days of ToT, TSMM, and star tours will make it fun. And he's tall enough for RnR so that's a big bonus. BUT there really isn't a ton the toddler can do there. We spent about 2 hours in the Honey I shrunk the kids playground last trip, but that's closed

I was really surprised at how much my 6- and 8-year-olds loved that playground last time. I'm so sad it's closed now.

Looks like we are getting 1 day of park hours at a time, today they show hours for 11/28 now. At this rate we should have park hours for the first week by Friday. Gives me the weekend to figure out if any of my plans will change. Oy.

I noticed a few weeks back they have only been releasing a day of hours for each day that passes and hoping they would speed things up but appears we won't be so lucky!! Luckily I'm not doing anything Memorial Day weekend so I can spend all weekend plotting my ADR's. GRRR

How are you all planning for not knowing what days (if any) we get the Star Wars fireworks and AK nighttime show?

Also, I know we are all saying we are avoiding parks on 11/26. How crazy am I considering going to MK to see Wishes that night? I feel like with the Christmas party there are so few opportunities to catch it but not sure it would be worth the madness, especially when we are sleepy from arrival day. SO MANY DECISIONS!

I'm adding a 6th day to our hoppers since we are arriving on Friday instead of Saturday now. That gives us an extra day to plan for nighttime stuff and the hopper adds SOME flexibility. I don't know what we will make it to the nighttime stuff at AK at all either. Just depends on how the day goes. I'm planning on ONLY staying late with the kids for Star Wars fireworks because both are obsessed. It's great haha.

And I'm seriously considering going to MK alone wed night for wishes and EMH. DH Would happily sleep rather than brave crazy crowds haha!

I think if you go in with LOW expectations for what you'll be able to do other than see fireworks you can make it happen on the 26th! If I didn't have young wild kids I'd be a lot more open to braving crowds, especially if it just meant getting there in time to stake a spot for the fireworks and chilling

I'm considering going 11/26 for fireworks only as well, unless it's warm enough to just hang by the pool. At least we have options, right?

I was planning to avoid the parks on 11/26 too but once I got it in my head to mayyyybe just go in long enough for an ADR and a few fast passes, and see how bad it is.....it's hard to shake that urge now!

I'm so torn about flights right now. My flight down would currently be $348 for Monday (one-way, mind you) but if we fly Friday instead, it's only $172! The flight home is $144! Of course, with the Disney website being down right now, it's impossible for me to see if there's any availability for me to change my dates. I'm toying with the idea of booking the Friday flight and hoping to change it to Monday if those prices ever drop.

I hope that is the case! I think I need to fit in Minnie's Holiday Dine that night since I can't find another day to squeeze it into my schedule so being able to stay for the SW fireworks would surely be great!!

We booked our flights for Fridaybecause it's cheaper to book a room only and stay the extra night than to fly Saturday.

I think we may be insane for getting out in the Saturday madness but figure we will just do our 3 fast passes at HS and then Fantasmic dinner. Last year little man fell asleep while we were waiting for it to start. It was near the end of the trip and he was zapped. Going there 1st hopefully he won't miss it and we can buy his cool light up toy night one so he can use it ALL week and I won't feel like I'm being ripped off, haha!

so I see Epcot has AM EMH for Thursday 12/1 - wondering how the frozen M&G/ride will impact those EMH, especially if they keep the A&E M&G standby only.

So excited we finally got 12/1 so I can begin to "finalize" my schedule. However, without knowing if SW fireworks and AK entertainment will be every night, I feel like I need to make all my ADR's for lunch so I can hop to DHS or AK as needed at night if it's only on certain nights.
