Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

Well, we are going to have to hear that one.

I typed up the full story a few days after she was born so I wouldn't forget the details and one day I can share it with her. But basically she's the 3rd born and I was induced with the first 2. I was 2 days late with her so I expected to have to get induced again. And I always feared I wouldn't know if it was real labor and didn't want to get sent home. I'm a bit stubborn. Anyhow, my contractions started but we're completely irregular. I was timing them but they never fell into a pattern, although they kept getting stronger. I called the dr and the nurse told me to wait until they were 5 minutes apart for an hour. About an hour later I was screaming in pain and DH said it was time to go. I went to use the restroom before leaving the house and felt pressure. Uh oh! 40 minute drive to the hospital and it started raining. DH drove as fast as he could but thought we were in the clear because my water hadn't broke yet. It then broke 5 minutes from the hospital. We pulled into the ER entrance, he slam into park and ran inside. While he was inside our baby girl made her appearance. I was holding her in my arms when he came back out with a large group of nurses. I handed her to a nurse and said "can you tell me if it's a boy or girl?" (We never find out before). DH tells the story best because he says when he came back out to the car he heard a baby crying and couldn't believe it. She was perfectly healthy with a head full of red hair!

Our 4th was born 16 months ago and we got to the hospital plenty early...they almost sent us home. But thankfully my water broke so I had to stay. 8 hours later our Disney baby was born, and 11 weeks later he made his first "real" trip to Disney.

Aww that's such a great story! Glad you and your baby were both fine!!! I'm a chicken and went to the hospital early with mine. They didn't send me home but told me to walk around! (For a few hours) Lol!

I subscribed to the Disney Tourist Blog as well. In the email for the newsletter I got shortly after confirming subscription there was a link in the second paragraph to click to download the 2016 eBook... it dowloaded immediately for me. Hope this helps those that subscribed!

I subscribed last night. In the confirmation email I clicked the link and it just takes me to the blog. And never received any more emails. Maybe I should just try again.

That is so amazing, seriously gave me goosebumps!! I had 2 unplanned c sections, I would have taken a birth like yours over mine any day haha!

So excited about those new treats and drinks at the Christmas party! Now we're gonna have to stop at every different spot to get different treats! We are going 11/29 too. DD13 asked to go again this year, but we told her we weren't going this trip. It was true at the time, but changed my mind a few weeks ago and booked it. Keeping it as a surprise for the kids. It's just so festive and feel-good. I didn't want to miss it!:santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa:
