week after thanksgiving

We may have to change our plans and was wondering what the week after Thanksgiving is like? Arriving the Sunday after Thanksgiving to Saturday. Is it decorated for Christmas yet?

That is our favorite time to go!!! The crowds are gone by then and yes, the Christmas decorations are up already. I believe you can get tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at that time too. That is our favorite event to attend.

We've gone that same week for the last couple years!! Weather is usually gorgeous, Christmas decorations are up, MVMCP, and by Monday crowds are light.

We went that week for my sister's wedding in WDW in 2003. It was fabulous. Hands down, the best time we have ever gone and we have done March, April, May, June, August, September, and October. We arrived the Saturday after Thanksgiving and stayed through Friday with my sister's wedding on Wednesday. Weather was beautiful - sunny, and 75 - 80 every day. Needed a light jacket or sweatshirt in the morning and evenings. We didn't swim because we were just so busy with the wedding, but you definately could have in the afternoons. Crowds were low, all the decorations were up, and we did Mickey's Very Merry Xmas Party in shorts and t-shirts.

We would go that week again in a heartbeat.

Thats when we will be there also. Cant wait. This will be our first time going in November and we are hoping for LOW Crowds! Seems like lots from this board are also going at that same time too. Cant wait to go to MVMCP for the first time!!
