OK...I know both are crazy weeks, but which is best as far as weather, special events, and of course crowds?

Hopefully, this is the last question of the day...lol!!!

Seriously, you are all the best. You have no idea how much I appreciate all the support and advice you have given me over the last few weeks!!!

Thanks!!!

We are booked for the week after the 4th. We've never been in July before. It would be great to see how others report in. We are planning on a swimming/rest trip due to the heat. we may hit the parks in the early evenings.

We did late June this year and had a great time.

Crowdwise you're basically looking at the same thing, MOBBED! For special events, there really aren't any for Easter with the exception of some Easter Egg Hunts on Easter. For the 4th of July there are special Firework displays at MK, Epcot and MGM. All of them are worthwhile and special. Again, other than that, nothing. Hourswise, you'll have extended hours at either time so that's another non-difference. The main difference is the weather. In Late March/Early April, you're looking at probably mid-80's with pretty low humidity. In July, usually low to mid 90's with high humidity and occasional afternoon thunderstorms. We go in July because we like to go for 2 weeks, and just can't do that any other time of the year due to school. The heat doesn't bother me, and believe it or not, the crowds are MUCH less than Christmas. I don't know if Easter compares to Christmas, but if it does, I'd stay away!!

Two years ago we went to Orlando the week after the Fourth of July. We actually left our house on 4th of July and got there July6th. We were told that while still crowded, it clears out because alot of people want to be there for the 4th and then they leave. We found this to be true. There were lines, but no where close to what we had seen the time we went there for Fourth of July.

I've been there both times. Weather wise I really like Easter better however other then the actual 4th of July date the crowds were about the same. The 4th of July was mobbed in the MK.

I've been there at Easter once and around July 4 several times. I would pick Easter hands down. July has always been rainy and way too humid for us, but we did not believe in taking kids out of school, so summer it was.

Our Easter vacation was warm and beautiful. It was a wonderful break from the cold weather at home.

Our youngest is in college, so now we can go in January for the first time. It might be warm or chilly, but there will be no snow to shovel!

Thanks for your replies.

I think I am leaning toward Easter...now just have to keep DH!

Thanks again!!!
