Week after Easter Crowds

We are considering going to Disney at Easter. We would be arriving on Easter and staying for a week. We wanted to know what the crowds were like this past Easter. Thanks.

Crowds Easter week will be VERY LARGE!

We were there the week after Easter this year---very busy. Some CM's I talked to said it had slowed down alot, but I thought it was busy (when is Disney not I guess!!). Friends of ours went 3 weeks after Easter and said it was wonderful.

I was there this year as well....one note, we flew in on Wed before Easter Sunday and stayed till the following Sat....crowds were busy (we traditionally have gone in Oct or Dec) but the week AFTER Easter was less crowded than the few days and weekend before..........either way, set your expectations realistically for what you will do because of the crowds and ENJOY...its Disney !!

We go back the week before amd week after Easter 2007.

Yes, crowds. DO AK on early entry mornings and out by 11:30 am.
Do MK early entry mornings or late evenng hours, have an ADR for lunch or dinner. Do MGM on early entry mornings and have an ADR for lunch - or just do dinner and Fantasmic. Do EPCOT anyday,time - EPCOT can handle crowds.

We went the last weekend of June 2006 with tons of WDW fans - all WDW resorts were booked - no rooms available. I assume offsite rooms were also scarce. Lots of people. We did early entry's, one late evening hours. Made ADR's for Parks we were in. We had no problem - exceot at AK when we stayed till noon, a mistake on our part - wall to wall people & strollers on the paths.

So - yes still go to WDW for Easter. Do Parks early or late. Use the resort pool - great weather, little rain in April and nice 80 dregree days.
