Wednesday Chat Rumor

I am new to all of this. I know there is a chat session that occur tonight at 9:00 EST. I have signed into the boards but I have never been in a chat room before on any site. I need to understand if I need to wait until this time to click on Chat or should I click on it before. Do I automatically connect or is there something else I need to do?

So stop laughing that there are still people like me out there that are still learning. There is always a first time.

You'll never be laughed at here. Wait, no - you'll constantly be laughed at, just not for stuff like this.

Click on the chat link whenever you like. The official chat time is something like 8:45 (like a Disney ADR), but people start drifting in anywhere from 7-7:30 on... Log in with your DIS username and pw.

I'd also suggest clicking on "options" before logging in and checking "Display speaker and message in a single line." This will slow things a bit, which is essential. It also helps if you pick a little bigger font than the default. Once logged in, click on the chat room with people in it.

Chat moves ridiculously fast. You cant read it all and respond to it all.

Mainegal -- Thank you for the PM. Yes I found it. And yes it was the first one I received. Chalk up another first. I don't have 10 posts yet so I could not reply back to you but it won't be long until I make that number. Yes -- this is a whole new world for me. I think my husband is shocked that I am embracing this so much. I suppose to just be the Disney Enabler for him as he is the Disney nut in the family.

Sorry you won't be on the cruise but you never know what opportunities lie out there for us all to meet.
