Wedgefield ?

Our retirement plan has us leaving our jobs about 10 years from now and moving to Orlando so we can work at WDW or DCL for the rest of our days.

We're looking to buy some land soon to have it paid off by the time we're ready to build our last home and settle in as FL residents. We're dog people and want to be able to have a couple of acres for the dogs to run...something we've always wanted, but never have had.

We're looking in Wedgefield right now - wondered if anyone lived out that way already or if you've heard good/bad about it??? We do know that it's close to the airport, not far from the port or the parks.

That area is near Lake Nona also now known as "Medical City". They are currently building 4 hospitals out there and the whole area is going to explode in the next year or two. If you can find some land and place a down payment on it I would do it ASAP!
