I'd like to build a wedding website for our guests to put all travel information and info about Florida on - I'm going to put all this in a newsletter too.

Can anyone recommend a good free wedding website? Even better if you're able to password protect it

I am using Wedorama.com. There's a coupon for 50% off so you only pay $35 and you get your own domain name (i.e. yournameandhis.com).

I also used mywedding.com. I am not that savvy in website building and this site is so incredibly user friendly. It's also absolutely free and from what I've noticed, I get no spam mail from them. I'm so happy with the service.

I am just starting ours for our VR. I checked out several and did choose my wedding.com too. It really does seem pretty user friendly.

Not sure if you are a Mac user or PC user, but there is a program on all Apple computers called iWeb that allows you to create really nice websites without having to know anything at all about web design.

One caveat, though. You do have to pay for web hosting. I use MobileMe which is the simplest. It's $99 per year, I think.

Our wedding is more than a year away, but we're trying to get a general idea of who "might" want to come, so I went ahead and launched our site this week to let everyone know what is going on. It's www.andreahandbrian.com.

Thank you to all the girls who showed me some wedding websites - some great examples there, they're beautiful!! Definitely the kind of website I wanted to have.

I tried Wedding Channel and it's not as flexible as I'd like, so I'll give Wedding Path a go next! Give the freebies a shot first I have both a MacBook and a PC, but I'd probably work on the website from home so I'd be working on a Mac.
