Wedding Videos

Did anyone use Disney's videography service? If so, does anyone have a sample of their video that we could see?

We did. You can find clips of our video here. The full thing is WAY too long to run at once.

edit: start with the Wedding Montage. Our video began with the Love Story, then the Montage, then it went back and did Prelude, Ceremony, PreReception and Reception (which I've broken down into important bits).

Hey Kim,

I am not totally sure how long they were there it may have been 4 hours. they came and covered all of us getting ready, the ceremony and breakfast. The ceremony was at 9 and breakfast was over by 11 or 11:30 or so and we were all off to the boat. It worked out perfectly for us.

I would say it doesn't hurt to ask.

We had 2 HD cameras. Both cameras were SLRs (same as the Roots) so they didn't have any super big cameras that got in the way. We got a preview which is basically the length of one song. Then we get a full video and all of the raw footage on multiple dvds. He has been so awesome to work with and I really feel like even though he is creating the video I have a lot of control. I LOVE that.

I would contact him and see if he can do anything.

good luck!

One other thought - ask if he could drop the price if you only had one camera...

Thanks Cassie! Those are great suggestions. Maybe I will send them an email and see if they think they can work with my budget at all. Cutting down to 1 camera is a great idea. I'm also thinking the half day of coverage is too... I'll be having photography all day, maybe I can just do the videopgraphy for getting ready up through our first dance and cake cutting. (Haha, I think I just eliminated all of 2 hours!) Oh well. I will email them and see what they say, can't hurt!

Leah, thank you so much for all of your advice, it has honestly been really helpful and given me a lot to think about. :flower3: I had no idea that the "preview" type videos weren't a standard feature of videography packages, so that is definitely good to know because I love them! I also wouldn't have known that I could get DVDs sent to me but I do think it would be helpful to see a company's full and finished product before making a decision. Thanks again for all your help!

:cool1: I'm glad I could help! I was feeling bad for posting a million times on your thread!!

Good luck! Let us know what you decide!

:thumbsup2
Leah
