wedding song

Our first dance was to "Somebody" by Depeche Mode

and my father/daughter dance was "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole

Depending on what you like, how about "We Go On" from either the Millenium Celebration or Tapastry of Nations Disney CDs?

It's a good one...AND Disney related!

Rachel Q-- I thought DH and I were the only people to have picked "Somebody" by Depeche Mode! It is truly an amazing song. We both must have very good taste.;)

Another song I have heard used that I thought was nice was "I Could Not Ask For More" but I don't know who sings either version of it...

"I could not ask for more", is sung by Edwin McCain...Tho, I may be mis-spelling his name...

Hi there,

We are renewing our wedding vows in December 03 onboard the Disney Wonder cruise ship.

We have chosen 'Evergreen' by Barbara Striesand for the bridal procession - the words are so beautiful, and for our first dance we are having 'How Sweet it is to be loved by you' by Marvin Gaye.

We have been married 30 years.

Hope all your wedding goes well

Rosemary

Our first dance was "From this Moment". We also had DJ Chuck and I can't say enough good things about him! Ellieb, I'm sorry that you had a less than perfect experience with him!

i know that song and downloaded. i forget where though. it's called "promise." i played it for rob and for some reason, he said he didn't care for it much. :( i do want it played at the reception though.

i really like the song "so this is love" from cinderella. i have the version sung by James Ingram, but my FH does not care for it. does anyone know another version of this song besides from the movie???

TIA!

Stitch 79, have you heard the Clay Aiken version of love of my life. That song is absolutely beautiful. I would like to find a clip of the smith version. Great Choice.

Rachael Q and Jkovick I love "Somebody" , you have to cry when you hear it. We wanted it for our wedding song but one of our friends used it before we got to. We then wanted "All I want is you" by U2. Another beautiful song and again one of friends got married before us and used it. We ended up with "It Had to be You" by Harry Connick Jr. It was alittle different from our first 2 choices but I like Big Band music and I love the song. The words are beautiful and it's a classic. :D

A Whole New World
This was are song and it is a great one listen to the words

My wife and I were just married in Disney World. We had our reception at the Boardwalk hotel. We chose the instrumental from Beauty and the Beast. I would check out the Disney Instramental Love Songs cd for some great ideas. Good luck!

We're not big on having "a song" for us. But we used Ben Fold's "The Luckiest." Listen to it...it will melt your heart.

No, I haven't heard Clay's version of the song. If you can PM me with your email address I can try to send you the smith version of the song or at least a clip of it.

:)

I don't know if anyone has already posted this but....

the song that Jennifer Love Hewitt (?) sings @ the end of the Hunchback of Notre Dame.

I love that song.

The boy and I have been seriously considering "You've Got a Friend In Me" from Toy Story. (Which is surprising -- he usually hates Disney!)

Our song was "Here and Now" by Luther Vandross. This is the only song that my DH will dance to when we go to other weddings since he isn't much of a dancer. We never sit this one out, though.

"Here and now, I vow to be one with thee... You're all I need..."
