Wedding Shoes

Talked to DD this morning and she finally got her shoes for the wedding, so she now has all of it I believe.....She got the "Something Blue Satin Pump" Manolo Blahnik that Kerri wore in the Sex and the City Movie when she married Big.

We also dyed her crinnolin blue, I think it will look amazing. I am going to try and post a couple pictures of what she has so you can see.

I can't get a picture of the shoe, and she will be wearing the Giselle Necklace from Kirstie Kelly Bridal. I can't wait to see it all together on the big day.

I her for being able to walk around in those for more than 2 mintues!! I don't know how people do it!

YES!! Those are the magic shoes! I couldn't get the picture to copy and paste from any of the sites I tried. Thanks so much Wazzo for putting in that link. How perfect that in the article in your link it calls them "Cinderella Shoes".

I also agree with you on the how the heck does she wear those crazy things...she wears heels everywhere! Makes me nuts, I can hardly handle them when I have to get dressed up as Mom of the bride I will have to buy a pair that I can stand to wear, and who knows as the night goes on I may just take mine off for something a little more comfortable.....

I looove those shoes.

I cant wear heels at all though I broke my toe when i was 13 and it didnt heal back right and so i cant put pressure on it like wearing heels does.

Difficult for photos as Jack's over a foot taller than me!!

OOOh!! I like the idea of the crenoline being blue with blue shoes!! I was originally going to get a blue dress, but now I have changed my mind to possibly go with something like an Alfred Angelo dress in white, with blue on it. Post more pics!
After 2 broken toes, I cannot wear heels either. I think I am going to suffer and wear some low 1" or 2" heels for the ceremony.

My mum is adament i have to wear heels for my wedding or I'll look to short!

That's awesome! I tried those shoes on and considered them for my wedding, but I do not have the skills to walk in them all day, so kudos to your daughter!

I can't wait to see it all together..I have to wait until next November! DD tried on a couple of the Alfred Angelo dresses with color they are beautiful. Her first choice before she tried any on was the one with the wide colored sash, it was really pretty, but when she put the other one on she knew that was the one she wanted, and she put a little color in other ways, the crinolin and the shoes.

She is going to have blue Hydrengas for her boquet and Rene (fiancee) will wear a blue vest and tie. Hopefully it will be an amazing blue sky day on deck 7 for the wedding and she will get lots of pictures with all that blue sky and water in the background from the ship!

Ok... So now you have me hooked looking for blue wedding shoes! However, I cannot afford the Manolo's So I have gone hunting elsewhere. I found a gorgeous pair of blue Nina shoes called Lilith, but they are like 4" high! I'm worried that I will be in pain and break my neck!!
Anyone have any other suggestions?
I would post a picture, but I haven't figured out how to do it yet!!

CinderelliT....good luck finding your "blue" wedding shoes. I did a search once just for "blue shoes" and it turned up a ton of them. I even saw a picture of really pretty blue floral ones someplace. I will look around again and if I find them I willl post them here for you.
