To resize my ring to fit me would virtual be the same as buying a new one but at the same time I feel like it states I am single with out it buy my analogy I mean cost
Not quite sure what you’re saying here, Tink, so I’ll just take an educated guess.
It sounds like your ring is too big and now you are wondering if you should get it resized or just buy a new one.
I don’t wear a ring and either does my husband. When we got married, we did exchange rings. With my ms, my hands are sensitive so it became uncomfortable to wear it. My husband had to take his off when he went into the hospital last November. I put it on my necklace for safekeeping at the time and now I don’t want to give it back LOL
It’s a security thing for me because I have a pendant on my necklace that is a Chinese symbol for my daughters name and now I have his ring so it’s like they’re both with me at all times. All together now, awwww
A ring doesn’t make you married. If you don’t want to wear it, and you’re scared of losing it, don’t wear it. Also, don’t let other people guilt you into wearing it.
I'd ask a second jeweler. That seems a lot when they keep the gold that is removed. I was thinking $50.For some reason mine is 65 to make smaller even though all stones are on top
Tell me more about the Disney collection that is a great idea might be out of my price range but fun to look atI have my wedding ring & engagement ring together and I wear them most days but it depends on what I'm doing. My hands swell in the heat so a I have a white gold band with two little diamonds that I wear when it super hot or when I go to Disney. If I'm working in the yard or playing golf I don't wear the wedding ring just the band. If I need to go out after work and will need to walk to/from the place I don't wear my wedding rings, work in Baltimore and it just isn't the safest place. The past 4 months I've been doing weight watchers and I told my husband when I get to my goal weight I'm getting one of the rings from the Disney Enchanted Collection.
No the ring doesn't make you married but it is an outward sign/symbol of being married/committed.A ring doesn’t make you married. If you don’t want to wear it, and you’re scared of losing it, don’t wear it. Also, don’t let other people guilt you into wearing it.
That was my point am I sending out a mixed message to men that cross my path that I am single when I dont have a wedding ring on but unlike my other job I was just let go from my job is 110% physical I would not put it up there with consternation worker but I am sure you guys have seen how a gym is runNo the ring doesn't make you married but it is an outward sign/symbol of being married/committed.
Don't worry about that. As others have said many married women & men alike don't wear rings for a variety of reasons. If you want to wear your ring but need to get it sized then do it. I have never been married and don't foresee ever being married, so take this with a grain of salt but if I was married I would want to wear my ring for ME, not for whatever strangers (or friend/family) might think. That was my point am I sending out a mixed message to men that cross my path that I am single when I dont have a wedding ring on
I feel "naked" without my wedding ring on. When I had to have mine repaired a few years ago, I bought a ring at Kohls that looks like a wedding ring for about $10 to wear while it was being repaired. I also usually wear that "fake" wedding ring at the beach so I don't risk losing my real one in the sand/ocean.
