Wedding registered in UK

hiya,

I am getting married in florida in october.

I am from the UK, can you confirm whether i need to register the wedding in the uk to make it official?

If i do, how do i go about doing this?

you dont need to its all official once the courthouse has stamped it after the wedding, everywhere i have needed to change my aname has done with the certificate I have from florida

we got 4 copies from the courthouse and they are all certified and that has been enough

Its just someone mentioned to me yesterday that i need to register it so i got worried!!

Did you need to take your birth certificate to get the liscence or do you only need your passport?

we only took our passports and that all they needed, you fill in all the info anyway
